This is great we really need an official Cody in that attire in elite form I think the only reason people don’t do this is because of the single jointed knees but they still look good man!
If you wanna swap legs fully without ruining either pair of legs, another thing you can do is cut off the large mushroom pegs that go into the waist and glue them back onto the other legs assy. That way, the leg pegs that belong with the torsos remain with the torso they're meant to work with once swapped.
@@ScottsStuff14 if you wanna make the connection stronger, you can drill a hole in the mushroom peg as well as a bit down into the crotch and glue a thin pin there as well or even a small screw. There are lots of ways to connect things. We're not limited to just thinking of these parts like Lego. There aren't any rules.
Honestly next hunt iam buying the basic Logan Paul to head swap with my top picks Logan cause the elites head looks goofy with the face expression I definitly wouldn't ruin an elite to make a better basic it feels basakwords
With the Logan knee you can drill in your own peg holes and add an elite knee peg and essentially build your own elite knee. I do this all the time swapping pinless elite joints, it's really strong too. All the best brother 👏🏻
on the waist and inside the torso you can remove some of the thick peg off the basic and apply lil magnets inside the torso, it gives you the eite articulation torso and you can use the waist swivel, as like your lashley the peg is just hanging there, the magnet method works inplace on the thick peg
Just an idea see if this works… maybe using rubber washers some how on the torso joints? Super gluing to the peg to give it back that needed piece to hold on to…To add the needed thickness to keep from wobble.. Those are usually sold at hardware stores like we have ACE here… I feel rubber washers would work well for heads too over sticky tac.. make it more permanent and keep the head on for majority of figures.. dremmel out a big enough hole on the head and glue the washer on the inside… the rubber should make it for easy on off when ever head swapping..
I just posted a new video with my Seth Rollins basic-to-ultimate fix up. I explain the process in that video ua-cam.com/video/-8297tIxjyw/v-deo.htmlsi=aKddcJgoo52pYjY6
They look great! I did Logan into a elite and Cody as well. I just trimmed the peg to fit like it should that way you can still play with it or whatever people want to do with him. Sold both rather quickly people like the gear on the basics with the torso articulation of a elite.
For Logan’s knee use a screw instead of the peg screw it through the knee so it hold like it is the joint and then just cover the screw with the knee pad
Yeah, the female figures have had better articulation forever. All of the Elites with the diaphragm torsos too. Some males like Viscera do as well, but it's rare.
When using the dremel I cut off a little too much plastic. I’ve learned that wrapping the peg with a little bit of electric tape can help fill the gap if it needs to be tighter
I’m glad my video inspired you to make a Sami Zayn custom! I actually want to that one day as well. There’s a couple things you can do depending on how loose the boots are. Basically what you’ll need to do add material to the peg because it’s not big enough to fit snuggly in the hole. I like to use sticky tac (poster tac) for quick fixes, just put a small amount around the peg and then squeeze it in the boot. You can also use heat shrink (the rubbery material for wires. Can be purchased cheaply on Amazon) and be a little more precise on making the peg a little thicker. Now if it’s only marginally loose, putting a light coat of paint or wood floor polish on the peg might be enough to tighten the fit up. Hopefully one of these tips work for you!
@ScottsStuff14 I think the look of the basic pants looks better than the actual elte version lol. But yeah I added some mod podge in there and let it dry and I think I'll try to see if they're snug now when I put them on.
I have a Sami Zayn basic video on my channel where I show the cracking process a little more. Check that video out and let me know if that helps. I can try to explain more in the comments too
@ScottsStuff14 I did watch that video and I just can't get the bottom half of the torso to separate for some reason. End up cracking way more pegs that way.

That’s a smart idea, I need to start doing that with the unused legs and torso

I had to swap the Basic LA Knight onto the Elite because the basic looked so much better in hand.

You might be on to something with the washers! If I have time to go to hardware store this weekend I’ll pick some up and start experimenting
Can you do a basic to ultimate pls

You should just cut the peg that goes into the torso and out of the basics and elites and swap them
I thought about using a table saw the get a clean cut on the peg, but that might be overkill lol
