Your channel is inspiring me to do some paper crafting. I don’t really have a place to it right now. I had to turn my craft room in my grandson’s bedroom. But they will be moving out again soon and I’ll have my room back. I have such big plans for Christmas presents. ❤️🎄
I've used plastic wrap sandwiched between the cardstock and the napkin. Iron it, with protective paper beneath and on top. It melts it together and has a very nice texture.

Greetings from South Africa. Thank you for this idea. We don't have access to much cardstock here, so this is a great way to make my own! I have found some recipes for DIY modge podge on UA-cam.
I purchase packages of full sized labels at the thrift store. (Smaller shipping labels work to add heft to thin ephemera.) They have only one adhesive side, but I have no problem applying glue to the "label" side when mounting the thin paper to cardstock. When reinforced like this in larger formats, I use them for envelopes without needing cardstock. I have also used the clear Contac paper to reinforce super thin papers that I want to use as card fronts or as envelopes. I use this process with thin wrapping paper because I have not gotten any napkins ye.
