Was playing on insane with randoms, and we destroyed all minions before the boss made her way to the prisoner. Thats because she was stuck on an island 😂😂, she was still alive when the game ended, but so was the prisoner and it actually counted as a win so 🤷♂️
That timing at the end haha. I managed it today finally. Ended up playing destroyer as I was always being overloaded with the final wave playing the battleship role.
Cheers for the tips. One thing what bugs me about this mode is you have to save the Prisoner but the Prisoner isn't with the enemy, enemy isn't between you and the Prisoner as it should be. It's like the allies imprisoned the Prisoner themselves then enemy tries to kill them rather than you go to their base and rescue them. I also think the boss should be the final battle. My ideal story would be do portal first, then sail around the map to a location, rescue the Prisoner then the Prisoner helps you get revenge in the final battle.
Way too many people expecting a carry. It’s quite soul destroying. Given your last match you’ve got 2 dead DDs, I’d say at least one can be harassing the boss Dreadnaught; it’ll try to avoid torpedoes , slowing down. The DD should be using the reload and damage blessings constantly. You can position the DD to get the best of both enemy fleet and the Dread. And the BB, I’d use some blessings if they’re not the health one, given the BB can push mid way and just about reach the Dread at times. Agreed on cruiser hanging back and spamming fire. If everyone contributes to those fires, a level 4 fire is devastatingly good when it explodes.
Yes, that was in today's update. They made it so that Insane always has BB prisoner ship and it doesn't just immediately go full steam ahead towards the reds screaming LEEERRRROOOOYYYYY JEEENNNKKKKIIIINNNNSSSSSS
It never did go full steam straight away. It would wait until you kill the Dread , and then the final wave it would run head long in there just as you thought you might win. Game over when it was the cruiser. You could try pushing it back with your own. But it just full throttle fights you.
The tips at the end are really useful I have managed to do all lvls but definitely going to be trying ur set ups out

When the prisoner is DD I park my DD right in front and make him push me. WE won a match because I did that. Leroy Jenkins DD motherfucker.
