You should check out Panuke again next spring or early summer when the water levels are high. When the water is up you can safely navigate north of the boat launch and fish around the standing timber. How far South did you go this trip? Past the power lines is good fishing also but the fish can be found just about everywhere on that lake.
I am really excited about the lake and will definitely be back in the spring for sure. We were way beyond the Power Lines..... maybe 3/4 down the lake. the section we mainly fished had a hole 85 feet deep...... the bass were lined up at 26feet. It was crazy.
hey brotha love the videos but i do gotta say! Control the trebles with some actual pliers or get yourself some fish grippers! You are going to get a hook deep in your hand or arm real soon if not and then your going to have to push the barb all the way through cut the barb and then pull it back out if you dont know the braid trick.. Love the boat i am in the middle of ordering one!
Have enjoyed your videos, all are well done - thank you! If you do not mind, can you share with me the source from where you get your music for your videos? Very up lifting. Thanks again.
This used to be a great lake for the locals, but now most weekends you can't even get a spot to park because so many people from all over are using it. It is their right, and I know this, but it is a shame for the locals who used to be able to enjoy a few hours with their children at the lake. It is now too busy with trucks lined up half way out the road. Other then that Frank, great video. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
Ya we were surprised at how busy the lake was. It’s busier then Grand Lake canal locks boat launch and this is only 20 minutes outside the city. So we were really surprised to see so many vehicles. I guess it’s a testament to how great the lake is. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Hey Frank, enjoy your videos ... quick question for you ... when you put in at the Boat Launch ... did you head back towards the Salmon Hole Dam or in the other direction (i.e. towards the 103 highway). I'm headed down in a kayak, so I won't be able to cover much territory.
Glad you enjoy them, it motivates me to hear that. We headed south from the boat launch. We were catching all the Bass about 3/4 down the lake, past the power poles. Long way down for a kayak. I don't even think you can get to the dam because the water is so low.
That’s how we were fishing this day. It was extremely effective on the bass. We anchored and throwing all kinds of things at the bass and barely anything. Trolling and we were hauling them in like crazy.
I commented at the start, as per normal because I cant help myself, you need to have Johanne out finish more! She added something special to this video
We don’t watch TV and we love “doing”. Prioritizing adventure and fun for sure over yard work lol. You have one shot, one chance this life isn’t a run through, enjoy while you can. :-).
Ya she is a natural in front of the camera and adds that excitement. Plus she's much nicer to look at then me LOL. I think she's hooked on fishing now, she really enjoyed herself, and the boat is so comfortable you'll see more of her I'm sure.
Looks like the boat is able to catch fish! How do you think the boat would do for a cruise on the lake? My wife and I find ourselves cruising around the lake every now and then. We have been looking at getting one of these for leisure and fishing
It has a folding tongue so the length fit into a garage. I think its 19 feet from trailer tip to the engine with it in the down position. Unfortunately I don't have a garage so I cover it.
She is a bass slaying machine now. Lol. Heavily invested in fishing and extremely competitive. She’s living the boat and can’t get enough. Once she caught a few stripers and good size smallmouths she was hooked…. Pun intended. Lol.
She said she wasn’t ready I love this I can’t wait for my wife to go fishing with me when I get my boat.
Stay blessed fam
Thanks so much. I hope she loves it as much as my wife.
Nice day
Nice looking boat still enjoying it
I love every second in it.

Ya I use lip grippers but get lazy. I need to use them more often for sure, in 40 years haven't had a deep one yet...... yet lol.

I am really glad you are enjoying the videos. The music is Copyright free music from the UA-cam Creator Library. I'm glad you enjoy it.
I just bought a 2023 and I would like to upgrade the fish finder that comes standard. I saw you have Garmin on yours. What model do you have?
I put a 73SV in the cockpit and a 63sv on the bow.

When you fish rivers like this, are you just throwing in a crank bait and trolling at idle speed?
That’s how we were fishing this day. It was extremely effective on the bass. We anchored and throwing all kinds of things at the bass and barely anything. Trolling and we were hauling them in like crazy.
You have such a full life, I have no idea how you fit everything in :)

We cruise all the time, my wife and I. Perfect for two people. A little crowded if anyone else.
that was a dark smallie
Hahah that’s how my wife would be with holding a fish I plan to get a black bass tracker classic
I hope you enjoy the classic as much as I do. I love it. Hopefully with more fishing the ladies will be more comfortable with it lol
Wow...city girl
👍🏻
Love the boat videos. One question because I am looking at buying one, how long is the boat from the back to the tip of the front with the trailer?
It has a folding tongue so the length fit into a garage. I think its 19 feet from trailer tip to the engine with it in the down position. Unfortunately I don't have a garage so I cover it.
Good stuff buddy! Subbed, throw one back our way if ya can! Keep it up!! Tight lines !
Done... thanks for the Sub
@@FrankZinck appreciate you
Hope by now your wife has gotten over her fobia.
