Thanks for the video. It was nice for preparations sake. The timing belt doesn't loop around the engine mount though. In fact it is possible to change the belt with the mount in place. Albeit awkward as hell. There are a number of bolts that are to be replaced, torqued and then turned either 45 or 90 degrees, including the bolts for the mount. Anyway, I found this helpful to watch in addition to reading the repair manual. Cheers
Beautiful work. I'm just missing the torque wrench there. But, you probably have the tightening torques in hand. Thanks and greetings from the Czech Republic.
First of all, thank you for this video!!! Exactly what I needed. Question. Would you happen to know what the suggest time is to replace everything if I took my car to the shop? Is this an 8 hour job or 16? Thank you
If the water pump is still good and I want to change only the belt loosing the tensioner, do you think possible to do the job without disassembly the engine mount and without to loose the cam shaft pulley and the high pressure pulley? I'm the CAYB motor on a Skoda Roomster.
@@astore3757 the engine mount will need to be removed as the belt is arranged in a loop around the engine mount. In my experience I would recommend removing the engine mount to get a good overview as it is quite fast compared to the criticality and total time on this job. Unless you are very experienced with these engines and have done the job before, I would recommend you to not test anything you are not 100% sure about. Good luck 👍
@@TheMightyThim Many thanks. I've done in the past the job. How you've told in the video..the tricky part for the job was the engine mounting bracket disassembly and remove!
Superb video. I imagine a large amount of time went into shooting and editing it to get that much detail.
Indeed, but it certainly is worth it if it can help others 👍
Thank you very much. This is very useful content!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Helped a bunch! 😊
Best tutorial brilliant thank you.
Very good presentation

I, think they usually will charge around 4 hours. But it depends on the shop.
@@TheMightyThim Got it... thank you for the info!
SO GOOD!
Thank you very much 😊
How is the Isetta going? Have you done much work on it recently?
I hope to post a update soon, but life is busy. But the Isetta project is definitely not forgotten 😊

Good work but no torque settings on tensioner and idlers. This may mislead people into mistakes and damage engine
Nice. Is this a CAYC engine?
Yes sir 👍
