Good video mate , one thing that will make it more comfortable to tie off in the kayak is to use a length of bungie cord or even a thin racing bike inner tube on the end of your rope. It softens the harsh thud and acts like a gentle shock absorber. Easier to throw over bollards etc and so much better when waves come along.
Thanks legend, if using bait Pilchards are great. A small ball sinker or paternoster rig will do. Soft plastics: just flick around some structure and walk around casting and casting until you find the school
Fun fishing in the heart of the city bro. Mate in New Zealand we are lectured on never handling the fish with our bare skin as it burns the protective slime off the fish apparantly. Leading to over 50% mortality. Have your fisheries guys done any research on handling snapper?
Get yourself a plastic buckle quick-release clip from Bunnings on your tie up so when you hook that big one your not stuck, simply quick release and let the fish do the work! I once hooked a massive stingray like that off my anchor set up and it pulled me almost 500m offshore!!
Watching you at 4am becaue I can't get back to sleep cause I'm too excited to go fishing
Hahah legend 🤟
where do you launch mate ? to fish in this area, and where can you park? thanks
yes great entertainment once again well done, and yes it was a fish on the full pilchard at the end but you had a fantastic day.
I'm so jealous I left all my fishing gear at another house before lockdown and now I can't fish even though I'm within range of the water 😫
I feel ya mate! Don’t worry soon it will be fishing time!

Good session James. Hopefully I get my own session soon after the lockdown. Tight lines.

Lots of pinkies about at the Geelong waterfront. 2 blokes bagged out on pinkies and salmon in about 3 hours.

Awesome video man. Do you know if that little marina is accessible on foot or is there a locked gate or something? Would be keen to try it out.
Thanks legend! Unfortunately need a pass to access it.
A very enjoyable video, could you fish docklands land based?
Thanks Mark! You can definitely. I’d rather access more structure though 😜
Where abouts do you get the fresh pillies?
Local tackle store in the city
Enjoying your videos, what is your medium combo?
Thanks for watching! A 3-6lb Zodias with a 3000 stradic.
