A tarp AND a seat? What luxury!
When I need a daily dose of hard work and cuteness I tune into Lumber Capitol Log Yard!!
Necessity is the mother of invention. Salute from the ancient order of Pacific Northwest blue tarp campers.
You have a lot of lumber and friends. Hold a shed-raising party.
That coukd be a disaster if all green people show up !! Lol. Walls of gerico 2
Next on Grandpa's to do list is to build a timber framed gazebo for Emerald and Jade to stand under while milling.
Think the LT70 needs a home, safe from the elements and you stay dry too.
That's a huge investment to be sitting out in the elements, not to mention the well being of Jade and Em.
@@GroundedFlyboy737 That's right, why did these beautiful girls set up such a makeshift shelter? Do you think we should advise her? Hihi
Like the homeless shelter!
It’s always great to see that LT70 in action making boards, and future potting soil.
So many comments about building a shed. I know y’all have thick skin, but not always easy to ignore. Not sure whether you read these or not. Stay safe, stay strong, and keep that positive hard working attitude!
Remember folks, the Boss Man, Boss Lady, the kids, Grandpa etc are all people too. They are kind enough to share so much of what they do. There’s only so many hours in a day, money in the bank, and other variables going on in their lives off camera. Understandable that most fans of the channel aren’t intending any harm, think about seeing them work in the rain and if everyone that drives past tells them to build a shed or something. It would get old pretty quick. I’m very new to the channel and am mainly watching for tips and tricks on how they are setup and milling lumber. I’m personally surprised at how many differences there are between the 70 and the 40 as well as the differences between their 40 and our older diesel 40. Nobody is really being mean about it, but just remember they aren’t actors, they’re regular people just like us. Attitudes are contagious and I love their positive attitude, work ethic, and seeing the fun they have while doing high quality work!!! Stay awesome!
Their Woodmizer LT70 is engineered and made to be portable and move to various job sites in all weather 24/7/365. Except for extreme weather, it’s only limitation is what the operator can endure. I’m looking forward to seeing more sawing on the 70!
Cheers, 🍻🍷 🥂
Ladies, you cut lumber for a living, so build a shelter to keep you out of the elements. We will watch it and click on the like button, simple 💪👍
The Boss and the Team have had a rough year. Equipment breakdowns, weather, equipment replacements, new showroom. Yes, of course a cover over the new mill would be better. If Em can keep the control box dry, the rest of the mill can take some water. No more freeze danger.
Hopefully sooner than later you may be able to put a roof over the machinery, especially on wet or hot days
Having a roof that is high enough and cantilevered with no supports in the way and infeed and outfeed working properly will be the end result of much brainstorming and family discussions. We are praying that will be soon forthcoming for all. Love all you do and show us , from South Jersey.
Congrats to Emerald for getting so good so fast on the new mill! Great show, Thanks
the #LT70 deserves a roof over head but so do the most valued members, Jade and Em. An open pole barn would be nice and dry. Maybe a walled up portion for the wind and chill., especially in the heat of summer.
Totally agreed 👍
Jade ❤️ you Martin Magee y
The more that I see of that mill, the more I like it. It is easy to see how it can do so much more and do it quickly. A great machine.I am glad to see that North Central PA is turning green, as usual.
If you only had some lumber to build a pole barn...
@LastNamefirst-wv7jj CHILL OUT. (please)
@@JayWye52 why so rude?
Great job ladies
I am with Jade.
The sassiness is coming along really well for your age Emerald. The experience hosting the channel is really paying off! Great Job! 💪👍 keep on keeping on!
Hard workin'. Rain or shine
Always a pleasure to watch Em &Jade running the mill. That mill is so cool to watch running
Emerald, it's called wicking when the water doesn't just soak straight in 😁
You need a pavilion with steel sheet roofing for rain and sun protection for yourselves and the mill.🤔
You guys are gonna have to put a building over that new sawmill
That vest is the BOMB! This week, I’m rocking mine in Edisto Beach, SC
Great video Emerald and Jade
Well Now! You drive some neat big gear girl! I respect that! Hat is lifted and a "wink".
Can't get over how much more efficient the new mill is.
Emerald and Jade. You both are blessed with strong and moral parents. Ya'll have one of the best channels, Keep it up, you are showing how it's done. Bravo....
i grew up in a farm, so i like this content but im grateful because of I CAN LEARN ENGLISH WITH YOU ALL

You two have got the hang of the new mill! Great job girls
Hi Girls
You best get after the BOSS to keep you dry and in the shade !
You have the wood...all you need are some screws and Tin for the roof !😁
I have to admit you ladies are very creative I love it
Whip up a portable shed for Emerald that can be moved with forks and repurposed 😂 I’m sure you have plans. Love it and keep it up!
Emerald & Jade you should think about building a wooden roof garage like workshop to protect the LT 70 wood Cutter machine & yourselves! 🙂🪵🏛⛈️
Bravo Em, taking good care of Little Sister Jade! Always love those smiles, warm hearts and great work ethic!
Outside the equipment you run - you both are awesome ladies. Pretty too. :)
Hopefully you plan on putting some kind of roof over that mill because if you leave it out in the weather, it’s just gonna get ruined overtime
Jade if you like the color Black,we'll the morning you might have seen or heard 2 Smith Transport trucks rolling south by your mill honking the air Horn and waving 👋 at you guys.
Both of those machines should be under a roof. You could build a kiln in one end. You can build a pole building Eighty feet wide and as long as you want it. Put metal on the roof and leave a space for the roof cap. Get great big eves trough and get some one to build you a big lined pond and you would have water enough if you ever had a fire. You could have Two 3 inch pumps and then take them down to 2 inch and you would have plenty of water pressure
I talked to a friend who drew up metal buildings for years . You need a considerable amount of clearance to put the longest piece of material you would ever cut and be able to haul them in and out. The Then the rest could be built like a pole building
Emerald & Jade you can use the bark left over plank wood for Fire wood or BBQ! 😏🪵🔥🥩🍗🐟🦐🦀🦞
maybe you could get a couple of those double carports end to end, just have the shed company as a sponsor with a nice sign on the outside edge facing the road
Doesnt boss know that that rainy weather might cause you girls to melt 😁 and I like the little green tarp made you look so Irish necessity the mother of invention 🤓😎🐝
That make shift lean to actually worked really good hopefully i do see something a little more permanent in the future ❤❤
Love the new layout too Jades end seems laid out well I like the work flow 👍👍
Emerald is a wizard with those joysticks .
You guys are simply amazing.
Spring is a not only the sun but rain also. Cozy umbrella. (Hi from Belarus. Harry Davidson).
great job. you two know what your doing & look great doing it.
That 70 is fantastic.
Thanks for sharing, ladies 😊
With that mill you look like a video gamer, just amazing work and a great team to make it all happen.
Emerald and Jade. I must say , Impressed at you both toughing out inclement weather . I live in the fsr north of Ontario Canada and i understand running my mill , or any other chore , in off conditions
Emerald I like your quick idea to protect your LT70 machine & yourselves from the rain! 💡🔨🪚🪵⛺️☂️⛈️
I like your janky tent. You have to do what you have to do in order to work in comfort. You must love that loading deck! No more struggling with loading the logs onto the mill.
Makeshift lean-to good idea. Moisture is a not friend of electronics. It appears you are having fun anyway. Wet sawdust yucky. Thank you ladies excellent job.👍♥️♥️
Y'all are doing real good on the 70!
Looking pretty smooth there.
Be safe, love the wet look. Lol
A raincoat comes in handy, in my humble opinion. 😊 Nice setup by the way, I love working with lumber! Something about the smell of fresh cut wood.
From humble beginnings come great things. Good on ya for doing what it takes to get things done.
Have,fun and be safe girls
Setting the stage for even greater success!
Mesmerized as usual....by y'all. I'm smiling.. can ya' see it? I am
🤔. . . "LT70" is a mouthful. I wonder what could be a cool nickname for it?
Thanks beautiful ladies
New Camera person? Great shots of the equipment. You both deserve to work in Dry Environment. 20' wide roof with sliding door Sections for Wind Protection both sides.
spot on doing with what you have in the time allotted , ladies well done an said ,
peace an blessings craig
Great job, you make do with what you have. God Bless
You can say I'm just one of the guys. But you know I'm prettier and that's no surprise. There are so many things I love in this world. But for now, I'm just happy being a lumber girl. There's machines, but you still have to work at the lumber mill. But having an audience makes time not a thing to kill. Never knew working could ever be a thrill. It's all good being a lumber girl. Helping people build their world. Yeah, I'm happy to be a lumber girl. Lumber girl. ( p.s. you have my permission to use this if you want to. Anyway, it suits you) Keep up the good work girl.
Great job, great family!
You ladies are rock solid and built tough.
I like the I will make do the best I can attitude. Good job ladies!
It works, you’ll need to build a covering or a large tent to be under.
Emerald you have slipped into automatic in running that puppy, nice!
Ought to have the boss get a couple of pop up canopy tents for his most valuable assets (his employees / daughters!) They're easy to set up and move around if need be, and can be anchored with sand bags or stakes / guy lines. Be real nice to keep the new mill operator's station out of the weather. I know WoodMizer makes them pretty rugged, but keeping the controls and control panel dry & out of the sun has to be a good thing.
I often see tents anchored with plastic 5 gal buckets filled with sand, like fireworks sales. some are filled with concrete. Good weight,"easy" to move.
I love your show........I am your fan #1
Great video ladies as always. Take care.
Thanks!
It is what it is.
Good team work
Points for creativity :-)
Emerald and Jade you are doing good job on your new toy there ladies. I know you call it 70i something i call it toy to me.
Love the E&J Productions logo :-)
Hey Ladies, working and singing in the rain, May want to check out 10 ft. x 10 ft. Slant Leg Pop-Up Canopy (won't say where so youtube won't flag it) they are around 60.00 each and goes up in less than 5 mins we use them a lot for temp work. just have to be care of high wind they will take off like a kite tie downs come with them. both of you could get one for each end and when you get covers built they can be used for camping, cook outs etc. Good job today! John Toccoa GA
Great video!
Loved your video 👏👏
Good work and looking lovely lady 💜
love ya = nice work on the new configuration. Jade-Sweet Umbrella!
Thanks ladies for another entertaining video! I hope ya'll don't get sick from working in the rain. But you did a great job on the temporary shelter. Have a warm dry evening. TTFN
I think germs are afraid of Emerald and Jade. I would be extremely surprised if they got sick from being wet outside. However it is not likely comfortable.
I seriously think you should convince your dad to build you a shelter for both of you girls when you’re working the song it’s the right thing to do
It is called a Roof! Roof: A structure supported by wooded posts to keep the rain off.
You got yourself an improvised shade and a chair for your workstation , it looks like it works .💀💀💀😀😀😯😉😈😈😈😉
i was on a camping trip with my camping trailer on the truck radio was (your voice & Lumber capital log yard add as i ran back home Wednesday in the rain it showers the weather man said i drove like 80 miles in rain the last 20 was dry by time home backed camping trailer in & un hooked the rain started again!
