I was teally disappointed in Caramel Cascade at first but ut grew on me and it did get deeper over time. I love it now!! It was so underwhelming in the beginning but it macerated nicely
I don’t have the OG nor have I smelled it. But Eclaire is pretty good on its own. But I’m not sure it’s worth $40-$49USD. I should have gotten a sample first! I wonder if it will change as it ages…
I really tried to like caramel cascade, but there was something that just didn’t agree with me but eclair I feel is almost identical to the OG. I have both and use them together and don’t see myself re-purchasing the OG.
Hi there!Really informative video and I feel that your explanations were spot on. I own Bianco Latte and Eclaire And yep, Eclaire is for sure sweeter. Perhaps a bit loud at the opening, but just for a second. Dry down, to me, is nearly identical. Even though my Eclaire is very new, I can get a good 6 hours, whereas Bianco Latte lasts over 10 plus hours and even longer on clothing. Would I buy the original again (125€) at 3 times the cost? Probably not...😊

What does "screechy" mean when it comes to fragrance? I think of a screech as a sound. It seems to be used now in more recent fragrance reviews. Who started this?
screechy is like a sharp metallic alcohol-y smell, it kind of makes you cringe like the screeching sound you referred to. it's always been a name to describe that smell in fragrances but not sure who started it
I wanted Eclaire but on another frag chat group someone said Bujairami Vanilla Dream was as good (and only $45 100mls) I over sprayed and wore it to work yesterday and got so many compliments (we are still wearing masks where I work too!) I’m content for the moment 🤔

from my experience, only middle eastern clone fragrances "macerate" but designers and niche never change
Not if it’s vanilla based. Every vanilla based perfume I own always macerates including Gentle Fluidity Gold.

I think Caramel Cascade has more umph than Eclair, although Eclair does smell smoother. And I think the Caramel Cascade lasts longer than Eclair.

For me its just cinnamon and vanilla. No honey or caramel. Hope it changes as it sits
