I'm very new to Power BI and your channel already helped me so so much! But this kind of "good practices" video gives me "oh my god, why didn't I do that before?" moments! Thanks! Plus it's in a short format so it makes it a "quick-learn" which can actually turn into a life-saver for newbies like me! Keep up the great work and quality content! ❤
Thanks for this Bas. You're the best at explaining PowerBI with straightforward, clear instructions and many of your videos have helped me out, particularly this one. Keep up the great work.
I looked online, and I I could not find the subfolder info until today. People kept saying that was impossible, and today I'm finding out it's been there the whole time. Very frustrating and also very happy at the same time.
Really nice, I'm doing a piece of work where I will need to handover the maintenance of the report to someone else. Keeping things super-clean with organisation of the data will make a positive difference. I'm implementing what you have demonstrated in this video. Nice.
Great information..👍I was searching for this.. Thank you for uploading this video. I request you to please make video on " How to publish dashboard/reports to On-premises server"?
Superb !!! Thanks for Sharing.Your video's are really good and everything is properly explained. Going to recommend your channels in my Power BI Watsapp groups.
Excellent recommendation to organize Measures. I have a question here: 1. I created a host of measures in my SSAS Model. Can I organize it in similar manner? Please guide. 2. While working, I have also created many measures and surely there are some that are no longer used in my report. Is there a quick way to identify them? 3. If I were to alter my measure name, I need to remember which visuals were they used and fix them one at a time. Is there a better and easier way to achieve this? Advance Thanks.
Great. Just great. I also like everything nice sorted and organized. Could not find good clear guidance on creating a metrics table. Should have known I first should have searched in your content.......
@@HowtoPowerBI I would add one thing: careful about reports that already use the measures from their previous location. Those reports will display only errors. Unfortunately, you'd have to replace the measure with itself. Learned that today the hard way :)

Hello, could you help me please: how can i select the earlest date from several dates? I have several columns with dates and i would like to create a new column in which i can see the earlest date of each line. Hope you got my question 😢 Thanks

Wow!!! Great content as always. I didn't know the ; tip. Just one question: I'm not sure but I've heard that organizing measures in separate table can affect samrt narratives - truth or myth?
thank you Filip! seems to work for me .. not sure what specific cases that could be where it would have an impact... or maybe an issue in older pbi versions?
If you have measures in an existing report and decide to move them into a measures table and the folder structure, do you know if it will break any of the previously created visuals?
@@HowtoPowerBI well not really, copying in the same file.
