Honestly its a pain farming DPCs as a F2P. Seeing the 2000 DPCs at the end of the Battle Pass is extremely tempting, but man I can't justify giving my money to this company. I just got Ultimus to 3 Diamonds, now working my way back up to a 6 red Skrull....
I really appreciate you framing it like this. Dark promos are def a choice at f2p. I keep thinking eventually I’ll have enough for everyone I use, but then Ultimus comes along
dark promos for f2p is a mess ,takes forever to save then the characters are leaving the meta, currently have 14k dark diamonds and nothing to spend it on. also the logan trails are impossible without diamonds on your spider society, f2p is still farming spider society🤦♂️its frustrating to be locked out like that
@ezkush420 it's kinda crazy how technically F2P have better access to Dark Diamonds only because we have nothing to spend them on. I was able to immediately get Apocalypse and Ultimus to 3 Diamonds but DPCs are a freaking pain to farm
I’m F2P, and only have diamonds on Ghost and Noir. Peter B at 6 yellow and Peni & Pav at 5 yellow. I still managed to beat the trials at lvl 15. It was hard, no question about that, but not impossible.
I have 17.6k dark diamond promo credits, and 300 dark promo credits. I've been focusing BK to 5 red, and now I'm shifting my focus to Apoc. The income for dark promo credits is non-existent for us f2p players.

Hey @dorky do you have any idea when will be getting an efficient way to farm DPCs....we used to have them at the end of every CC season and now they got replaced with diamond promos....if we do not buy the passes there is no way of upgrading these toons?
with the payment for the next crucible season I have to raise BK and Ultimus to 3 diamonds each. Today I bought the sixth red for OML. From this moment on I start saving and surely by the time the diamonds come out of OML in a few months I will have collected dark promo for their seventh red and I can invest in some diamond. I would only buy red for Skrull in case I somehow manage to collect a lot.Apocalypse already has his 3 diamonds and Goblin 2 (I got one in his event).
I have been making an assumption that OML is falling out of both the Arena and raid meta- you make the case that he’ll still be in the raids. Do you think he survives the Arena transition? Similarly, is Black Knight leaving the Arena? Skrull?
I would say all the characters you mentioned are out of the arena meta when the 3 new Annihilators are live in game. Especially for those with Mephisto and Odin right around the corner, but regular people will be using Apoc and Skrull.

They had captain britan in the store I bought his 7 star in there just waiting for his event which hopefully is after pink so I can get him up to 7 stars since Is all i need and since I have 1 diamond I will get his 2nd diamond and called a day
The metas change to fast for it really to make a difference. Character releases come to fast just making it extremely hard to catch up if you ever take a break (which I've taken several) unless you spend a ton of money which I refuse to give scopley another dime.
Part of Doom's passive is if he drops below 50% life he will get a bunch of speed bar and give himself enough energy to ult (baring any weird turn room rules or anti turn bar mechanics). If Doom is built too high, then he will be harder to push below 50% life. If Doom is built too low then he will just die. So you need to be careful about where he sits compared to the teams you take him against. Or so that is the idea. For instance, there is a skrull/doom cheese against Superior 6 where you put Doom in the corner next to Skrull. Skrull takes two turns and GGC does a splash retaliate. If you build Doom correctly he will drop into yellow after the second Skrull turn and Skrull annihilates everything before anyone else takes a turn. However, if he either dies or stays in the green after those two turns, the matchup can go bad really quickly. I've only tried it 3 times, but that third time Doom didn't fall into the green and only Skrull survived the matchup, which hurts efficiency in CC and obviously there is a lot of risk with having only 1 person alive at the end of a fight.
DK and OML are falling from arena, DK also have so many counters that maybe should be in the whishfull thinking, OML still in the war meta but I don't thing that I need a masive OML
I feel like Ultimus is a Trap he been bad for so long just giving him increased stats just a matter of time before he his coplete garbage again. Also they need to do more costumes for rework Characters just for a new look not the boring same ol same ol if the get rework or buff they should get a costume as well just makes it more interesting and appealing in my opinion.
Eh. He's a great tank buster and his kit is really good for a solo character. He's also ridiculously cheap. I use him with Cabal these days. You're also gonna want him built for the Legendary that's gonna be coming since it's Illuminati and Annihilators for the requirements.

Yea I’m going to start really pushing for a more reasonable way for dpcs to be farmed. Hopefully something comes of it

Nah the dpc economy sucks so bad. Maybe with the incursion campaign and increased cores we can make it slightly better
I built my Quicksilver to three diamonds because he was an absolute superstar in DD6. Since then, he's run directly off a cliff.

The graphic for oml 2nd red star info is incorrect. its not 250 dpc but rather 450. i have a screenshot of it in my store.

I’d wait until you get them naturally. They are too rare to “waste” on redstars you’ll earn down the road!

Why do you want Doom as mid? Not low or high?

Gambit is worthless u should replace him for oml not cyclops cyclops does more damage
gambit is NOT worthless
Gambits counterattack does so much damage and his heal and ability block are so useful.
