Thanks for letting us know about all of these amazing watches instead of just covering all of the new tiny variations to all of the same watches we all can't afford that all the other channels spend all their time on.
Honoured to have made the list Andrew, thank you 🙌🙌 roll on March when the Munro will be back on the shelf 🎉🎉 glamping, buckets and moo cows optional 🤣
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I recently received my Clemence Munro Ridgeline. Extremely comfortable on the easily adjusted bracelet. Fun color combination and super legible. Specs are perfect for a knock it around model. Fast becoming my second favorite field watch - behind my Rolex Explorer 40mm of course!
You didn't mention the greatest time piece ever made - The Nubeo Sphyrnidae in RED!!! - OHHH YES!!! (I was drunk Monday and looked at a Watch Retail Website - it came yesterday)
These days, i just refuse to spend more than £500 on a watch.. my old Omegas and IWC didn't make me happier than my G shock, Casio W59, a vintage Longines and an artisan Harold Pinchbeck... all of those watches come to £1000 total This hobby does not get more fun, the more money you spend
Been wearing my Laco more lately as its one of my most accurate autos. The lume is great. Straton is on my list and a watch building kit from Namoki for next year.
The Lorca smooth, I mean No2, is smooth and thick. I do like the Mooneyes style hubcap on the crown. Thanks for these insights into some known, and lesser known, independents.
Well done Andrew. Nice to see that the usual big names have been excluded from this video and that there is a world of watches far away from Omega, Rolex, Cartier etc…
Yes there is some beautiful watches there but surely for some of those prices maybe a Squale Atmos doesn’t look to bad an acquisition after all at £900 from a well known auction website
8:32 When I was living in Bahrain a local asked me what Arabic numerals looked like. My answer was that they were those as found on the dial of the watch you show. But that answer was wrong. I was told that Arabic numerals are exactly the same that we in the „West“ call Arabic and that the numbers shown on this dial originate from India and found their way to Bahrain during British colonial times. In an effort to decolonise, Bahrain actually reverted back to the „Western“ Arabic numerals on their license plates and away from the „Indian“ ones.
I hope to see the Nuun minute track design improved in the future. Arabic numbers 2,3,4 look like 20, 30, 40. The dots on the minute track were probably not the best choice since the dot is a zero
That praesidus nailed the vintage look , all these Swiss brands just chuck faux patina lume on a modern looking watch and it rarely lands, this actually looks like a vintage watch not re issue 👌
Hey Andrew instead of Awake you should have shown Oan.Gio their lacquer dials are so much nicer and so are their rose engine hand turned guilloche dials.
This is a great list. At these price points it’s a cool idea getting one of these really cool dials. It’s ok if you only pull it out a few times a year, it will have that impact. This allows you to spend more on a luxury everyday “boring” watch that is never out of place. Having that flexibility in dials is really nice.
That Clemence Munroe is really nice but more expensive than a Khaki Field Auto on a bracelet. It's tough to compete with what many people believe is the best watch under £1000 especially when you price it higher
Every time I see a watch with the 7001 hand wind movement I kick myself for not buying a CW 595 during the short time they were available. I did buy a SU Goofy Panda during the drop yesterday, the uprates are a nice touch without going crazy, and the price is a steal in my view.
Mecaquartz is amazing. I just don't understand why they have the (to me) completely useless 24 hour subdial at three. I like how Furlan Marri simply ignored it on some of their chronographs. Great video, the Theresa May joke had me actually laughing out loud. 🍉 forever!
17:02 me trying frantically to understand the double entendre... then realising he meant exactly what he said. (for a change). I guess that's it then. Happy Birthday and here's a cute engraving of a baby's arm holding an apple.
Everyone needs a Studio Underdog in there watch collection there fun Quirky and different to other watch brands going to add a Second one to my Rolex Submariner, Bell Ross Bro 3 41m, Omega Seamaster 300m 42m, Heuer Monaco Calbrie 11 Steve McQueen blue dail, Doxa 200 Orange dail l love watches ❤
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
Getting tired of only watches Andrew. I want you to write and perform commentary on news, world events, local news, used car ads or yes, even sports events!
Im used to Andrew showing me watches I can't have because they cost more than my car. Recently he's started showing me watches I can't have because the limited run is sold out before he even makes a video. That is less aspirational.
The only thing I don't like about Rivanera is the font on the dial. It's way too simply put in there. For a dress watch this delicious and full of character, the font was selected too casually and have no personality.
I mean if your biggest problem of a watch is the typeface of the brand then that’s a damn good watch 😅 I thought I would be able to gatekeep the rivanera, but looks like I failed
Following this video UA-cam suggested I watch a classic prank from Jeremy Beadle. I can only presume this is because he too had one small hand and one big hand.
"Stay to the end to find out what UA-cam thinks you should watch next." -- OK, I laughed. Then the laugh was immediately wiped off my face when a Praesidus watch came on. This is one of the most cringe brands that currently exists, along with the likes of Zero West. This whole WW2 / military marketing without the least bit of heritage behind it is just embarrassing. They even have a terrible watch with sand from the beaches of Normandy, to "commemorate" the D-Day invasion. Or, to translate from marketing BS to plain English: to make a buck off the sacrifice of the thousands that died during that sanguinary slaughter.
Do Studio Underdog ride every youtuber for a mention in videos? They keep polishing a turd of a movement and everyone keeps buying it. Am I taking crazy pills?!
Thanks for letting us know about all of these amazing watches instead of just covering all of the new tiny variations to all of the same watches we all can't afford that all the other channels spend all their time on.
“It feels good to have a warm, smooth no. 2 on the wrist.” As ever, thank you AM for these little surprises.
Honoured to have made the list Andrew, thank you 🙌🙌 roll on March when the Munro will be back on the shelf 🎉🎉 glamping, buckets and moo cows optional 🤣
The Clemence Moo Cow has a nice ring to it. Hope you guys keep doing well!
@@aeis3007😂 a future LE
Andrew, I love how you present many brands that I've never seen before, very enlightening and broadening content. Bravo mate!
Can't believe UA-cam was gatekeeping this video for 24 seconds
Warm smooth #2 on the wrist- that’s gold!
Golden brown?
@ depends what you eat, I suppose

Who would have thought that I would one day watch videos about bloody watches to get a laugh.
I lost it when the Italian helicopter pilot bit came up. Thanks, now everyone in my office knows I was watching UA-cam.
You’re really mining a rich comedic vein in aerospace witticisms ❤ I’m never having a helicopter ride with anyone that greets you with...’Ciao Bello’
I haven't worn a watch for fifty years but I love hearing about a watch that can unlock the shopping carts at Harrods.
❤ your videos. The clever writing and cheeky little comments. Great job! 👏🏼
I recently received my Clemence Munro Ridgeline. Extremely comfortable on the easily adjusted bracelet. Fun color combination and super legible. Specs are perfect for a knock it around model. Fast becoming my second favorite field watch - behind my Rolex Explorer 40mm of course!

Echo Neutra Rivanera - banger!
Clemence Munro - banger! and I'm rocking it on my wrist right now (orange dial)
Good looking watch with a horrible name. wtf echo neutra supposed to mean anyway?
That Awake is something else… a sleeper hit.
These days, i just refuse to spend more than £500 on a watch.. my old Omegas and IWC didn't make me happier than my G shock, Casio W59, a vintage Longines and an artisan Harold Pinchbeck... all of those watches come to £1000 total

Really cool assortment of watches here- the characteristic wit makes it. Outstanding!
I think the Casio EFB-730D-1AVUEF is a bargain PRX chronograph substitute 👌
13:55 does someone know where to buy the grone that he's talking about here? The older model?
That echo/neutra is stunning. Definitely getting one, the only question is when 🫣
I'm genuinely impressed with how close MAMACOO were able to replicate every aspect of this very very goofy looking classic watch.
Been wearing my Laco more lately as its one of my most accurate autos. The lume is great. Straton is on my list and a watch building kit from Namoki for next year.
The Lorca smooth, I mean No2, is smooth and thick. I do like the Mooneyes style hubcap on the crown.

The echo/neutra is absolute fire!🔥
Well done Andrew. Nice to see that the usual big names have been excluded from this video and that there is a world of watches far away from Omega, Rolex, Cartier etc…
Managed to order a studio underd0g goofy panda last week from their latest sale, can’t wait till late march 👀
Yes there is some beautiful watches there but surely for some of those prices maybe a Squale Atmos doesn’t look to bad an acquisition after all at £900 from a well known auction website
Blue Dial Studio Underdog...I want that watch....!

Really wish I knew about the Bauche stargazer. That is such a cool concept!
I hope to see the Nuun minute track design improved in the future. Arabic numbers 2,3,4 look like 20, 30, 40. The dots on the minute track were probably not the best choice since the dot is a zero
I jumped on that Grone! Can't wait...
That praesidus nailed the vintage look , all these Swiss brands just chuck faux patina lume on a modern looking watch and it rarely lands, this actually looks like a vintage watch not re issue 👌
This shows how copiously customers get milked when they purchase products from the established luxury goods companies.
Hey Andrew instead of Awake you should have shown Oan.Gio their lacquer dials are so much nicer and so are their rose engine hand turned guilloche dials.
I think i know you

Studio Underdog 🔥🔥🔥
The Karl Pilkington reference was the best
"since they couldn't talk to each other without letting go of the controls." I spit out my drink
Bauche is the pick of this list for me. More of this kind of list please
That Clemence Munroe is really nice but more expensive than a Khaki Field Auto on a bracelet. It's tough to compete with what many people believe is the best watch under £1000 especially when you price it higher
Better quality I would think. I've seen them irl, they are very high quality. Great bracelet too
can you please review beaucroft seeker. I would like to hear your thoughts on it!
You had me at "The kind a young Theresa May would like"
The Rivanera is amazing...
I just came across (on the internet) an upside-down Ludovic Ballouard watch, and I loved it....definitely not a bargain watch, price- 98,038 Pounds
Yes but how is the lume?
How on earth does Charles Berret make any money on each watch at that price?
Every time I see a watch with the 7001 hand wind movement I kick myself for not buying a CW 595 during the short time they were available. I did buy a SU Goofy Panda during the drop yesterday, the uprates are a nice touch without going crazy, and the price is a steal in my view.
Echo Neutra FTW
Mecaquartz is amazing. I just don't understand why they have the (to me) completely useless 24 hour subdial at three. I like how Furlan Marri simply ignored it on some of their chronographs. Great video, the Theresa May joke had me actually laughing out loud. 🍉 forever!
First one is gorgeous!
Lovely movement in that Charles Berret.
17:02 me trying frantically to understand the double entendre... then realising he meant exactly what he said. (for a change). I guess that's it then. Happy Birthday and here's a cute engraving of a baby's arm holding an apple.
I quite like the Studio Underdogs, something fresh to look at. Not sure how reliable the Seagull is though. If anyone has long term experience here?
The Studio Underdogs have an incredibly short shelf-life. It's a look (a very immature one) that will age worse than Madonna.
Seagull are made from a old disbanded Swiss movement company (well they bought the factory tooling etc and took it to china)
that Grone is FIRE
do you know wise thailand watch ???
13:53 What watch is he talking about?
delft watch works, model name is oostpoort

I still just don’t get that watermelon watch.
Me neither but I respect the quirky charm of it
Fair enough but I have one that I put on a forest green rubber strap.
A summer watch that makes me smile and even gets noticed by the muggles!
Nicer fields...... Strawberry fields if you will, I really anticipated you going there...that's why I comment and you write.

Mido, Switzerland♥
Thanks for exposing me to some great watches, but I wouldn't call them cheap
AnOrdain better Awake to a competition problem they may have imminently.
Waterproof as a teabag 😅
Awake watches have gone up from 1600 gbp to 2360 eur! Magic!
I had the same observation, then it hit me. Taxes.
A reference to Some Like It Hot.... I'm in... genius
I lost it at water resistance of a teabag. Pizza cheese dangling from the nostril lost it
....a warm smooth #2 on the wrist. let me think about it.
12:23 you were smirking bout that banger of a joke werent you
I love the melon thing but eod it is a seagul of ali express with a auper cool birth
The Praesidus dial maker was off his head on Co…
Getting tired of only watches Andrew. I want you to write and perform commentary on news, world events, local news, used car ads or yes, even sports events!
I am a huge fan of echo/neutra, but that tanky-whatever-thing is definitely not my cup of tea
....without letting go the controls....hahahahahahah hilarius
From our friends over at Wiikipedia, "The system was invented between the 1st and 4th centuries by Indian mathematicians."

It is overpriced though, guess I will get it used after couple of years
If you can’t fly a chopper and talk with your hands, maybe it’s the chopper that’s wrong.
How cheap are underdog? Using the chrono face without the fingers and just blocking the spindle holes with screws. Just a bit naff IMHO.
Well many of them I would like to buy are sold 😂😂
Pilot watches shouldn't have water resistance. Flyboys need all possible incentive to stay dry.
Following this video UA-cam suggested I watch a classic prank from Jeremy Beadle. I can only presume this is because he too had one small hand and one big hand.
The Clemence Munro has been sold out since 4 October.
Are you able to get hands on with all these watches?
A Field watch for moo cows and glamping? Too funny AM, too funny, you've got the average watch enthusiast sussed.
See, I am not that stupid after all!
Why doesn’t your beard grow?
His beard hacks.
Me like.
I heard moocows as milgauss and had to rewind.
Got my order in for a V2 SU watermelon 😁
I got the goofy panda and it’s V3 I think
Oír la versión española es una tortura
Won’t buy a Clemence Munro because Mr. Munroe was the a-hole headmaster at the private elementary school I attended.

Hindu-arabic numerals I think they're called

Am I taking crazy pills?!
Echo/neutra completely ruined the watch with horrible branding of their name on the dial smh
Thanks Andrew. How do you find these amazing watches? the amount of time spent in looking for them must be divorce-inducing!
