@@van_der_lindeDA 1) gearbox graunching when upshifting from 1-2. 2) Exterior looks are not great on this gen. 3) my 2021 type r engine over heated on its first track day. 4) common issues in Europe groups about reliability. 5) exhaust quieter than rivals (bar a35). 6) not as fun to drive as the i30n on track(other than super tight corners). 7) the front lip is not great on most roads, scuffs a lot.
@Hdgkrosj838 but you referring to a FK8....which is have also owned....FL5 never had a gearbox grind...never had an issue with relaiblilty, never scuffed the front lip, better aftermarket support, better resale value and remains #1 hot hatch on the planet. Just some extra info...widest hatch ever made, widest tyres ever used....different body to a standard civic with wide arches....amazing stance, and remains a Type R.

I have a 2023 Hyundai i30 N Premium Auto, with no rattles
2022 I30 N with 39'000 km on it, no rattles so far 😅 still in love with it ❤
