I picked up a couple of the two mic units last year for my karaoke shows and have found myself using them more at my other shows where i do not want to let the kids touch my more expensive mics.
Frequency question. The Amazon description says selectable frequency from 530-590MHz. Can you check if all four receiver channels can reach all of that frequency range? Imagine 540-590 was jammed up with TV channels. Could you set all 4 receivers to the 530-540 range to avoid the TV channels? The reason I ask is that I'm using GTDAudio G-787 systems, and they mostly work very well. But each of the four receivers in the unit can only use a specific range. One is 550-560 only, one is 580-590 only, etc. Since there are TV stations on 580-590 in my area, that receiver channel causes problems, and it can't switch to a frequency outside the problem range. Is the Phenyx more flexible?
My concern is the button mutes hundreds of times for a karaoke system? Will they hold up as apposed to a simple switch system. Also, will it search for freq everytime mic is muted/turned off between singers? When not actually needed.
I'm going with the two mic version instead of the 4 for what I do I don't really need the additional mics for now, but heard a lot of good things about 4 mic system. Thanks for the review.
Hey Brandon, my biggest question is related to battery life. We own a few mics from the top 2 mic manufacturers. One system EATS UP the batteries like crazy while the other system will last me for hours and hours of continuous use without having to change batteries out (this is of course using the same batteries on both mics). So I need more wireless units that I am able to throw on those 10+ hour gigs of continuous use but I wanted to know how the PTU-7000A held up in terms of battery use?
There is no link for these. Amazon doesn't have them. I went to their website and it only gives the option for pre-order. Makes you wonder if this item has not yet been released for the average consumer?
Thanks for the review i been lookin on youtube for some reviews on these ptu 7000
I saw this review on Amazon site and thought I'd come and subscribe to your channel! I am near the DFW area as well! :)

If you want to use BNC cables to use better antennas, you'd need a TNC to BNC adapter.
It's a TNC: Threaded Nut Coupler vs, Bayonet Nut Coupler.
Phenyx makes a paddle antenna system. As for BNC connection, you can use a combiner and use BNC on those connectors. Nice Job
It looks like they most of your gripes on the latest model of the 7000a and added BNC connectors!
Thank you So much for your video! How many hours about can you get out of each mics battery life?
truthfully now, how does the Phenyx system compare sonically to the backup system you brought with you "just in case"..? 🤔
Just got the 7000A. The display is now blue and the antennas have BNC connectors. Now $299 on Amazon.

What kind of antenna distribution system do you use for this system?
Is the mix out on receiver a mic level or line level
What about for singing?
Can you replace the capsule with a shure? Or a V7?
Great video. By any chance do you know of these mics work with any rechargeable batteries?
Yes it will
how does it do with singers??
Great video. Did you have any problems with feedback issues.
No Feedback but plan to do a video on that subject!

The A is this very one... The B version is the one with body packs.
