I’ve got to go
Because our time is all wasted
And I’ve got a finite store of emotions
I dare not deplete it on anger
At this or at that or at them
I dare not deplete it on them
There is no concrete truth
And no black and white
Just thick painted borders with no end in sight
So I fight to move through them
I can’t go where I want to go
There’s still some strength in my bones
Will these hands become withered and old
And that damn secret voice crying out from my bones
To make me feel damned, and so holy
Now, as for the cogs
To keep turning, they’ll need therapy
Pour each projection a shot of whiskey
For our bonds are about us
