I am using JioFi 4 NAS. It's supports upto 64 GB SD. It's worth trying it. For a starter understanding NAS system JIOFi is not bad too and very affordable. Nice video . Will definitely try this NAS enclosure in future 👍👍

Thank you for creating this. very informative video. Can you please suggest which brand is reliable for concealed wiring for certified CAT8 or CAT 7 cables? Scenario- I want to connect my NAS with CAT7 or CAT 8 ethernet cable to my deco mesh router which has a 10G port, also connect this router to my computer with the ethernet cable for faster access. I have already purchased CAT 8 ports for all access points including walls. I ordered FEEDUS CAT7 and CAT8 cables from amazon but it stopped working within 7 months. Now I am routing concealed cable through walls, hence looking for a reliable cable brand.

I think it binds your external ip to a dns address so you don't need static ip. Not sure this model has that feature

Not really I would prefer spending extra for the nas rather than buying cloud storage the problem with cloud storage is we don't have any control over there even the Google and other cloud services network speed sometimes are hectic I prefer you should think about it twice after buying any drive services

1. Not possible. You can only use IP cameras with open port. Mi cam doesn't allow you to do that.
2. For NAS, HDD would do the job but 7200RPM is must.
If you're on a tight budget, Make your own NAS with raspberry Pi. It serves well for home purpose.

Technical Support Engineer write me about my problem that
We are sorry to hear that your DS218 has to be reset. This is likely caused by an issue in the DSM operating-system.
We understand that you are worried about losing your data. Please rest assured, your data should not be affected by the reset as the OS and data are stored in separate partitions on the drives. When re-installing the OS, the system should normally not touch the data-partitions of your drives.
I beleived and i did what he said now all my data erased omg i shocked after sir Steve Baker dissepeared i am alone there is nothing in my hands
