Have you been in contact with the shop via email to find out about the delay? I ordered my wand March 2022 and have been told a few times it was "ready" but they wanted to take pictures first then I finally reached out again last week just to be told I'm on the "urgent " list now to make my wand...communication concerning updates to our orders is frustrating to say the least...

This is my preference as wand color Blue and gold and the woods maybe purple heart I have another wand made entirely of purple heart that I bought recently it's not exactly one from him it's a wand from another custom wand maker

Congratulations on your new wand!!! Thestral tail hair and Vila hair are also options for wand cores.
