But yes if there was any game where you needed to conserve any healing stuff, it’s this game. It’s easily the most difficult boss in the survival horror genre.
When game developers put their heart and soul into a game. This game was hard, but it was also fun. I cannot wait until it gets here. I just ordered it.
Really underrated game, took me multiple playthroughs to beat it, though. Really tough if you don't conserve your supplies for the more nasty parts, especially the final boss.
Yeah I actually just beat it this morning. Fun game but the final boss can be agonizing if you don’t get the stuff for the Grenade Launcher or don’t conserve as much as healing items as possible.
@@OldEnemy1 I'll never forget the first time I killed it. I had almost no ammo left, no healing items, I was infected, and had like 10 or 15 HP left I think. I took one last desperate shot with the shotgun and it died.
Oh. This was my first ps2 game. My brother bought for me and we'll himself the phat model. He knew I liked survival horror cough Resident Evil cough and he bought this game too. Got a pal release because European here. One thing I noticed is the different haircut of the protagonist Haha. BTW this is a good game
Same here. This was my first survival horror game when I got my first PS2 in 2002? And I wasn’t a huge fan of horror games but this one was an exception.
Imagine this game with today's graphics. I used to watch my dad play it when i was 7, I found it scary, but couldn't stop watching. Tried to play it myself but then I remember how scary it was lol
@@TheWalt19 I’m currently trying to stealth my way through one of the early scenes on no one lives forever on the ps2 and it’s difficult! Exactly how I remember playing games back then.
This was my first PS1 game. I remember playing DreamCast when my brother comes home with a PS2 under his arm and a copy of Extermination asking if I wanted to watch him play, good times
Ah yes, _this_ game. IIRC, it was among the first to be released on the PS2 back in the day. Its overseas version also features _hilarious_ voice acting (as Audio Atrocities (TM) can attest), unlike its JP version.
Actually, the North American and European versions feature different English voice acting each other, among some other differences like the Dennis haircut, Europe kept it the same as it was in Japan, while North America changed it to the shaggy hair seen here. And it's in Europe where it was given the hilarious voice acting, more in line with the typical B movie/survival horror trend of those times, while the North American one is more high profile/Hollywood type like you can see here.
@@WeskerSega "while the North American one is more high profile/Hollywood type like you can see here" ...You're kidding, right? Especially with Dennis' VA (stiff) performance on display. And if the EU version is worse...then _oof_
I really wish they would remaster/remake this game as long as they put as much love and care into it as the original creators did I believe it would be an amazing game. Just don't give it to EA, Activision or Ubisoft to do because they would ruin it as they would fill it with microtransactions and make it one of those live service crappie games.
I really like this game but I never managed to finish it though but thanks to your longplay I finally get to see what I missed. Thank You.
i kept all medkits for the last boss.. i was uing MTS all the time... you need a lot of health for the last boss fight.
It’s nothing like playing it
You need the grenade launcher

I’ve been looking for this gameplay for a thousand years.
And now you got it :)
@@ckyy69 I always forget the name. I played it once. But I couldn’t understand the controls lol
Same!
This game continues to be one of my favorites from Playstation 2. I have the demo with me, but have yet to try the full game.
You should complete it, it’s such a great game. It’s worth more than some games today.
@@TheWalt19 I agree. I have not bought a copy yet, but plan to since I want to expand my game collection

Just found there was going to be a sequel .. Etermination: World plague

Finally someone who uploads games made in 4:3 in the same aspect ratio.

This game NEEDS to be remade
Take a shot every time roger mentions the rendezvous point
This was a gem. But damn was it hard!
Wait really
@Mega Shawn X: agreed and “VAE VICTUS!”.
I love how hard it was, that is what made it fun. Games today seem so easy to complete in my opinion. I like being stuck on a boss

US Marines owning a Cargo Plane?
That's the Air Force's job.
How come I'd never heard of this before?
Not a lot of people have. It's an early PS2 launch game and it wasn't a hit.
Wow. Looks like a good game. May download this onto my computer and see how it is.
This smacks of something. Something metal with a gear
Metal Gear Solid?
Its like The Thing and Mission Impossible got put together
"That doesn't sound too good."
The remake ppl didnt kno they needed
cringe
Yes we need this game remade
When I first played this game it was hard as hell lol
Wait, why the protagonists hair is different?
Hard to believe Swery65 was a writer for this game since it lacks his trademark weirdness.
Fat chance, but - would really like to see this game being remade.
Infectious fluid. (31:31)
Another zombie game.
lol. just enough jank and cheese befitting the ps2 era
😂bruh my parents had no business giving me this game at 5 years old 😭😭💯💯 best game ever played
Resident Evil meets John Carpenter's The Thing but corny as hell. It's an okay game.

The third stage final boos was so annoying, loved the game though
Cool

US version has different voice acting... i prefer EU version of voice acting... is better. still own this game..
Had me believe that was Snake bruh
