It's definitely Trails of Mana. It still has the soul of the original. FF VII Remake on the other hand lost its original identity almost completely. It feels like a totally different game. They should have stuck to turn based combat, would be way much better.
This. I completely agree Trials of Mana is a much better remake especially since Final Fantasy 7 "Remake" is being released in parts, and it's a reimagining not a remake. Lol Squeenix with there dumb name.

Tbh you might be the only one that thinks that. Maybe as a remake yeah, but both are amazing games separately.
