@@mi1key i assumed that it was not a joke because since it's hard to play that game in multiplayer nowadays i think people could easily forget that was a feature but you could be right
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn seems to be the most 'forgotten' game lol. While remakes may not be the best compared to the original, but they did introduces new modes or music that the original did not featured (especially Kirby Super Star Ultra) and became the standard of future Kirby games beyond Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is probably the best remake game HAL has made, featuring lots of contents such as Magolor Epilogue which is like the post-game mode telling the story of Magolor while having some relations with Team Kirby Clash Deluxe / Super Kirby Clash games and adding the 2 new abilities (Mecha and Sand) in the lor starcutter challenge stages
Return Deluxe is what really sticks out to me as the best and most perfect remake ultra is a great game that definitely fixed my biggest issues with the original, but some snags were still left intact like certain level designs and overly-easy bosses, while deluxe feels like it strikes the perfect balance between staying faithful to what the original did right while also not compromising literally any opportunity to improve. they even revamped the extra mode to make it actually challenging while still sticking to it's fundamentals
I think an Amazing mirror remake would be neat, since people would still be able to play the original on nso i think they could be encouraged to improve the game even more by adding modern movesets to the abilities, maybe some new abilities like in rtdldx and second phases to bosses. I don't think they could handle the online well though, maybe it should be released on the next console. Also i'd say that superstar ultra is indeed the best kirby remake because it's the only one that does not remove any freature from the original (nidl replaced all the minigames, even though i like the new ones more, and removed the rotation effect in butter building, while rtdldx removed scope shot so for these two there is still at least a little reason to go back to the originals, but i still prefer all these remakes to the originals overall)
So you think it could happen in the next console what happens if it doesn't and then Nintendo decides to put it on the Switch? But a Amazing Mirror remake would be awesome to see
@@connorj1165 i don't think it will be released on switch if they actually decide to remake it because rtdl dx is still too recent and i don't think they want to release too many remakes in a row, maybe we should wait the next anniversary and by that time i think the switch successor will be already been released for a few years since it's rumored to come out in late 2024

@@connorj1165 if you think about it the last time they remade a kirby game before rtdl dx was ssu which came out in 2008, so 15 years before this (not counting extra epic yarn that is more of a port with new features than a remake). For this reason i don't think they will release another remake soon, and they could also do triple deluxe or robobot first. Also if they announce a kirby movie that has some cameos of characters right back at ya like escargoon it would be neat, but i think they would need to soft reboot it to attract new audience and they should include a more iconic villain than Nightmare, like magolor or the dark matter or elfilis since forgotten land is now the best selling game in the series
While I have loads of nostalgia for SSU, Deluxe easily tops it in terms of how it upgrades the original. An entirely new epilogue, lovely overhaul on the graphics department, and tons of new mini games! You could argue all of these were also done in Ultra, but they didn't feel like their full potential was reached in that entry (also Deluxe adds more Magolor so umm yeah it's instantly better)
Nightmare in Dream Land is one of the rare remakes that is just worse than the original as far as I can see, but I still love it in its own way. Meanwhile, I never played Super Star Ultra because...well, you could say I have somewhat of a negative relationship with the original. I don't think it's good, but I for some reason played it more often than some games I actually do like. Maybe it's masochism, idk. Anyways, I am afraid of the possibility that the remake does not exactly fix what's wrong here and is another no good-situration. And well, RTDLDX is pretty much king. There are some nitpicks I can throw at it where it does something worse, but they are not as overwhelming as the NIDL details, especially because they are actually made up with more new content than anyone actually wanted and a lot of QoL features that make the game feel a lot closer to the games released after the original(Which is good because those games really polished things up).
I'm tossed between Super Star Ultra and Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Both remakes delivered on it quality, content and fun factor. If I had to choose the winner, it would be Return to Dream Land Deluxe.
You know I think Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe has to be one of the best Kirby games I played on the Switch but I want to see another Kirby remake for Switch and not on Switch 2! I want to see like remastered versions of both Kirby 3DS Games like Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Planet Robobot coming to the Switch and not on Switch 2! And also adding new epilogue modes for both Taranza and Susie like seeing Taranza finding Queen Sectonia after she was defeated from Kirby so that they can be together again and for Susie maybe she tries to find her father after Star Dream was destroyed by Kirby with him in it or maybe she tries finding Kirby’s Robobot Suit after Kirby defeated Star Dream or maybe having a backstory for Susie I don’t know but it would be cool to see these games be shown in the game awards on the Switch instead of being in Switch 2!
I think a neat idea would be doing "prequel" modes for taranza and susie instead of epilogues, like taranza going to the mirror world to steal the mirror and susie trying to escape from Another Dimention before joining the haltmann works company
