@@Kliq_X-factor probably not with default key layout, like, I can pull out super glides on controller 50% of the time, this is probably a little bit harder.

this game needs custom maps, theres way too many cool movement techs that require a fair bit of setup. maps where there were perfectly angled zips and jumppads would make an awesome playground and let people really master implementing all the tech, would be a whole different game
i love how Apex movement techs have evolved, even though the majority of them are purely unintentional from the devs and accidentally discovered by players, i strive to eventually make a game like that, and a community like this every game devs dream, good work you guys :D
This must be the craziest movement discovery in recent months. It's not too useful in practicality but i can feasibly see a pathfinder (with an ult and a survey beacon ready) setting up a really cool rotate for his team.
I think a normal pathfinder zipline would be more useful for rotation, but if pathfinder team is holding down an area, can have the zip lines setup before a fight then utilize it mid fight or to get out if needed
One thing I’m noticing on console when trying to replicate this is that I can’t seem to place another zipline directly on top of a previous one; it will let me place it almost anywhere around the end of the zip, even when the bases of the poles are on top of each other but only at an angle where the poles themselves aren’t lined up.
mhhh. check the vid of floofykat and how he places the zips. he does them very consistent on console www.reddit.com/r/Apexrollouts/comments/w105bt/more_of_this_new_zipline_tech/?context=3
@@Mokeysniper hey I did some testing on console. I found out you can hold crouch before spamming interact or holding interact and you can still get the extra speed boost. So you don’t have to time the crouch either 😂

this wont honestly be super useful most of the time cuz you need enough time to setup 2 zips but if you're staying in one spot for a while or just looking for clips its really good
i can see this being potentially useful in situations where you are rotating around someplace that theres a survey beacon. You could place the first zipline while your party loots the POI, do the survey beacon, set up the second zipline, finish looting the place with your team, and then zipdash away. Maybe someplaces like the little village between geyser and fragment right north of the vault on world's edge? One issue i have with it is that, would it really be any better than just using the zipline normally? would it overall take less time to loot a PoI and set up a zipdash spot than to just loot it and use the zipline at its max distance and leave that way? Your exit would be faster but would the time you save on the exit be lost from the setup in the first place?
From what I got from this video is that the mechanic works because you try to switch zips but when they start to overlap the game doesn't know what to do so it just throws you off
