My copper IUD Is great!! I have had 2, they have a 5 year lifespan, and I still get my cycle bc it does not block hormones, and the way it works is that copper is toxic to sperm - They don't die, but they become "demotivated" by whatever the copper does, and they just chill there till they naturally die a week or so later and get processed as any other extra sperm. They are a hair less effective (Unfortunately I have in fact been in that .01 percent, but that was before all the bans came thru) I also recommend to anyone reading this to use it in conjunction with a spermicidal sponge.
I LOVE that they gave it to you, (your ectomy) IDK your age (no need to say if u don't wanna) but in the US if you haven't had at least one kid, you are healthy, and are under 40 its like an Instant no. You literally have to go to Baja, or one of the medical tourism towns, and even then due to that culture's feelings about females as well its still hard.
also, spermicide is only unsafe with prolonged expose! The tests they do are not reflective of use! I don't think anyone is out here slathing it on morning noon and night, but the tests tested like they were! (Unless they are, ultra nymphos trying?? to be? safe??) But Never heard of such a thing If you one use it when needed, and cleaning up excess, its a pretty okay product. I think it is too expensive tho
@@VVilde36 Bless your IUD! Yes using it with spermicide is even safer, maybe I was unclear: I meant for me it was not safe enough. Besides always remembering the pill made me pressured to do so. An IUD can be a great alternative to a sterilization and it lasts for years. Whoever reads this, make sure to ask for painkillers or a sedation, I at least couldn't t tough it out. :D
I'm 28 and have been trying to get sterilized for ten years. It took me TEN YEARS to find a MAN (I only visit female doctors but I was desperate) who just asked: Waddaya need? me: a bisalp. him: okay this is how we do it!
I had ZERO bingos unlike with anyone else. Reddit has a doctor's list on r/childfree and I highly recommend that. In Germany technically you can get sterilized at 18, but most doctors think women can only sanely consent to kids and not to no kids. Ten years, for fuck's sake. (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻
