Did you know there are Farm Bill programs that can provide expert advice and financial assistance to achieve your wildlife habitat goals? One such program, the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP,) is accepting applications for the 2025 fiscal year cycle until January 31, 2025. Watch to learn more about EQIP from your friendly Ohio Farm Bill Biologists. The presentation is aimed at private landowners and operators interested in improving habitat for wildlife, including on working lands! We discuss program basics and review tips for navigating the EQIP process. We also provide examples of EQIP wildlife projects such as planting pollinator habitats, creating native grass pastures, and improving forested acres. After the presentation, we answer the questions of the attendees.
