This tank and the Annihilator alike are the exact reason why i don't play T6-T7. I just use free xp to skip those 2 tiers when i grind a line. WG don't care breaking a part of their own game to make more $$.
Yes, especially tier 6. Can't even pen it frontally and it can just snap oneshot kill me. Really fun

@@MosinMan12 I don’t have it because I won’t gamble on crates and I missed it in the auction as I was not playing at the time, my channel is for subscribers to get their games on YT so I don’t need to have the tank as the channels subscribers provide all the replays

I don't own a Smasher, so my view is entirely from playing against them. I don't think they're amazingly overpowered and any significant nerf would turn the Smasher into a hit point pinata like the KV-2 or TOG.
It literally is OP. I regularly check the stats of Smasher players I encounter, especially of the "noob players". All of them, no exception, plays the Smasher average-wise considerably better than any of their other tanks at tier VII.
It is in a tier 7 Match. But you never get tier 7 matches so its just a fun tank.

also i gambled for 3 tries and got it on the 3rd one which was about 200 gold for a smasher lmao
well i can say ive been quite certainly enjoying this tank, definetily one of the most game breaking tanks ever introduced
First time it was sold was for £29.99. After that it’s never been a fixed price again lol
As an average player, I rarely have issues countering them in battle and personally find the gun unreliable. I got mine in a draw, which is the only time I saw it guaranteed available if you had 19000 gold to complete the draw. I did and got it on the 12th spin of 15 possible for 7500 gold. While really happy at the time, I rarely play it.
To this very day it amazes me how many people park in front of a Smasher, everyone knows what it brings and yet it happens

WG doesnt need to nerf the Smasher. They just need to reprogram its rng to actually match its actual stats. The fact the Smasher hits as many shots it does, from across the map, defies its accuracy and dispersion values. Even in the video you showed the Smasher hitting 30km going up over the bridge, and hitting that speed easily while going uphill? This another example of it playing counter to its stats on paper 🤔
I'm a f2p player. I got the smasher from the smasher draw. But I had to sell my obj 752 and T54e2 to get the gold. I just wanna let you all know that I feel selling the tanks was absolutely worth it after playing the smasher. Those tanks are really good, but the smasher really is in a different league. (I still have a chimera that I got on black friday, I would never sell it) . I am definitely not promoting gambling. (Definitely not the words of a gambling addict)

I think all derp guns should be reviewed for a potential penetration or acc./aimtime nerf. I think the kv 2 and smasher should be exceptions to this review for their both balanced enough to not merit it. A certain American light tank line in particular though...
Also I was wondering what your opinion on the obj.268/4 tank destroyer is. I was lucky enough to pull it out of the awesome draw and had never heard of it before given my medium tank addiction.
And the next thing you know, I get one for 50 gold in the draw because I'm a degenerate gambler. Fuckin' hell. That thing is insane.

Smasher isn't OP but against tier 6, its definitely a nightmare. Tier 7 can deal with it with some help from allies and i love destroying them in tier 8. The issue with shot dispersion and damage dealth is really upsetting though. I do have an openion that WG have special RNG for this tank. They just rigged those files imho. Also it make me sad to see other high tier 150mm guns been nerfed in alpha like foch and grill but this tank at tier 7 has more damage than those tank destroyers.
I own a Smasher, I had my fun - but I don't care if they nerf it. There are other tanks I enjoy more.

KV-2 was so fun to me until it got nerfed for selling Smashers. WG makes the game less fun themselves

Having one tank that can actually perform isn’t OP. Its armor isn’t that great once you figure out it’s weak points. The gun depression doesn’t allow hill down. Its long reload makes it vulnerable to any fast tanks. So without it’s gun, it would just be a KV-2 in a higher tier, making it a joke. It wouldn’t stand a chance against anything in tier 7 no less tier 8. Plus it’s availability is so rare, that it’s not a real threat. I think the annihilator is much more OP then the smasher.

ı buyed also in na server smasher ı can say just its nerfed friends ı sure ! after some few games in na serv the gun dont work good anymore. becouse before in eu server ı played long time smasher it was realy effecktive with the gun, to be sure ı played in eu server again for compare and getting sure it is nerfed or not . yes it is secretly nerfed !war gaming have just one goal sucking more money and destroying ours fun in game no more els
there is a logic in real tanks no one take the gun out and installed a weak gun but wg doing nerfs smasher is open to easy hits becouse the taret is big to high only with this strong gun and fire power can be balanced in game ,if the gun is nerfed smasher its getting one of useless disasster tank.its a littel bit nerfed secretly ı guess so !

I played this platooning with my friend today in big boss mode, we both literally steamrolled the enemy team with no mercy. 2 battles, somehow with me and my friend each one as a boss
That's poor matchmaking, especially if the enemy boss is a T43, as occurred with me. Curiously, I had a Smasher platoon yesterday, with one as Boss, and it was close. We probably would have lost had I not died in my Skoda T25 and got resurrected as a healer, and I immediately went across the map to heal them.
Yes, it still is. I hate the Smasher and everyone who plays it with a passion. It's a disgusting P2W tank that is blatantly OP to give it a better selling point. Whoever at Wargaming is responsible for this has singlehandedly ruined balance from tier VI to VII.

EVERYTHING about WOT Blitz balance is better than WOT PC! From +1/-1 MM (PC has +2/-2) to even the MOST OP of Tanks in Blitz are still only moderately better than similar tanks for comparison. Also in WOT Blitz all the tier 10s are BALANCED! No fkn 279e, Fv201/T95, Obj 260 and so many more just make tech tree tanks feel pointless by comparison.
And FINALLY - "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!" Blitz gives out SO MUCH MORE free gold, free tanks, and for last birthday since I have a 9 year acct, I got Keiler free, but WOT PC? Been playing since 2011 (quit round 2019) most I EVER get free are shitty tier 5-7 premiums I don't care about, and Bonds which are actually useful, but nowhere NEAR a FREE Tier 9 collector of my choice!
not everyone can play well with smasher ,smasher need good skilled and clewer player .if is in hand of young childrens without any game xp forget it , smasher is useless !
That can be applied to all tanks. Smasher is not that hard to play.
The witcher and anni dont stand much chance at this thing either, remembering the anni got mirror nerfed, and the witchers dpm and armour wasnt enough to beat this in battle, even though it can be done easily on blitzstars…but for the smasher be nerfed i dont believe is a need, yes its tough, but if you get hit from it, you werent paying attention…
I bought it from auction, i would like it to not be nerfed cause i paid 10k for a tier 7 🤦 instead they can maybe make it a fun mode tank like sheridan missle, or something like that, along with all the fake unbalanced tanks like annihilator, witch etc.
