Please be cautious about what you write before publishing. You mention the "Turkish parts of the city" in your video description. There is no such as Turkish part in Cyprus. It is the Northern Cyprus which is illegally occupied by Turks since their barbaric invasion in Cyprus in 1974. In 1983 the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) declared independence, although Turkey is the only country that recognizes it. The international community considers the TRNC's territory as Turkish-occupied territory of the Republic of Cyprus. The occupation is viewed as illegal under international law, amounting to illegal occupation of European Union territory since Cyprus became a member.
@@poptravelorg thank you for correcting it. I really want the world to know about the drama of my country, having taken away our rights since the barbaric Turkish invasion in 1974. The invasion aftermath was 7.000 greek cypriots slaughtered, 3.000 greek cypriots go missing and more than 200.000 greek cypriots violently removed from their homes. These are actual facts. Can you imagine North Korean invading New York city and then claim that New York is Korean and their legal territory? The audacity of those countries governed by their dictators is unimaginable. Also, the people in Turkey are getting brainwashed by the media everyday and falsely educated by their school books, claiming that the north part of Cyprus is Turkish and therefore they are all growing to believe to that outrageously wrong opinion. I wish countries all over the world could keep their hands off foreign lands and let people live peacefully.
The areas surrounding the venetian walls used to be beautiful gardens years ago... It's an absolute disgrace what it is being transformed into. That this was designed by the most famous architect in the world just shows the deplorable state of modern architecture and urban design... If only Cypriots would tear up the concrete and make a beautiful garden out of it again...

You must be crazy, if you put Serbia and Kosovo in same category. Have you seen Novi Sad and Belgrade? It can't be compared to Pristina, a Muslim slum. I suggest you look at the amazing video this dude made in Novi Sad, and let go your prejudice of Serbia.
Such a shame. A divided city in a truly beautiful island and just because a handful of Greek Cypriots wanted Union with Greece. I've spoken to Greek Cypriots and some Turkish Cypriots, all really beautiful people and I remember them telling me about a real friendship that existed between them. Such a great shame. Thank you.
I have one more video of the Greek part coming up ua-cam.com/video/gttgNOYyN5s/v-deo.html -- It's a bit too short as I tend to post a longer video for the weekend
The places you visit are where the Turks and Greeks live together, and the Turks also have their own flags. It is not just right to share them with the Greek flag.
Understood. I first removed the Turkish flag after a comments and now also removed the Cypriot flag. It's a divided island and this city walk shows. There isn't a political statement in puttingnone flag in the description though Cyprus is considered Greek and "Northern Cyprus" Turkish. I also removed the flag in the Northern Ireland videos which received similar comments

I have changed the text a bit to note the occupied part. With these walks I usually write de-facto situations and show also an unfiltered view
