Sooo close to making a decision on whats next for me! In today's video, my mum is touring NYC apartments with me to help me make a decision and I am still so torn but with her around I've locked in on somewhere that might be home soon!

Hi Sofi and Emily. I discovered this channel last year because of the apartment tour video of when Sofi moved to the NJ/NY area. I love apartment and how tours and since you asked for my opinion i will say the one that was $6010 was my favorite. Not only does it have great lighting but it is also more spacious than most of the other ones. With that being said, the $4700 one was also nice, even though you said it’s smaller than what you are looking for, remember that you are downsizing and that the price is representative of that and its cheaper than the $6010 (which is closer to what you currently pay so price wise it wouldn’t be the biggest difference as the others). Anyways, I hope this helps, cant wait to see what you choose! ❤

Definitely look into those areas with your requirements and you'll find what you're looking for. I don't want you to spend too much so that you're not able to save & invest in other things instead of pouring your hard earned money into renting something that only meets 50% of your needs. The apartment is small area for recording your pod cast was my favorite. #1 you had an unobstructed view. You could basically walk around naked, and no one would see you. #2. The bedroom was big, and you had walking space. Good luck with the apartment journey.
I think you should keep the Jersey Apartment, but since you got to bounce, I would get the one apartment with the nook. Im just disappointed with the kitchen sink lol

Sophie, live and work in NY. You’ll save in taxes. The apt closer to Macy’s is ideal. PLEASE do not choose the damaged floor apt. The convectors leak a lot.

@@JoyFay Yes but living/working in NYC will eliminate NJ taxes. Currently Sophie is paying both NY/NJ.
