Though it still has a ways to go to make profit due to its massive budget, and the fact it goes up against #deadpoolandwolverine next week, it is off to a great start #boxofficebreakdown #twisters

Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt should take plenty of credit for 'Twisters' being popular on opening weekend imo. A lot of success for 'Twister' in '96 came from it's leading cast as well as it's impressive special effects.
I was hoping Helen Hunt was gonna have a secret cameo, but sadly she did not
Here's hoping Twisters can make a profit we need more Movies that are just Movies.
Watched it today on 4dx. It was awesome.

Many people wanted to see the sequel because of the first movie. My prediction is 350 million in its theatrical run. Anyway, great video!
With a budget of somewhere between 160 to 200 million.. if 350 is all it does, it won't even break even.. hopefully, it'll break 450 or so.. even 450 if the budget is on the higher end won't cut it.

The Original Twister was the 2nd highest grossing movie of 1996 worldwide behind ID4. It grossed $494.5 million, which equals $992.08 million in 2024. So I clearly don't understand why people didn't see this coming.
Yeah those international numbers are not good. Deadpool 3 will probably wreck it badly next weekend. Would not surprise me if it takes a big hit domestic and international presence will barely have any existence probably.
Who would have thought, that a simple action film, devoid of wokeness, might be a draw for people? It's like people like to be....Entertained?🤔
are u sure about that! it had a pretty good message about global warming - a very strong female lead and it's directed by a Chinese director or is it that its not a disney movie

Moana 2 problems: plot holes, maybe too quick, people hating on it just because it’s a Disney movie. 650-790 million dollars
