WOMEN from ICELAND do they all look alike?

You may have gotten the impression from watching our previous videos that many people in Iceland look alike. This is due to a combination of demographic and genetic factors.
Historically Iceland was Viking land populated by a few Norwegians, the number of inhabitants was always low and it is a very remote island. This is why Iceland has problems among its citizens when it comes to finding their better half.
It all starts when they ask for the last name. It's just that everyone ends up the same way here. What happens is that the last name is created by taking the father's name and adding the ending “son”, for when he is a man, and “dóttir”, for a woman.
In other words, if a certain Leif Ericson has a son, he will be named Leifson and his daughter will be his wife, Leifdóttir.
When this happens and adding that there are only 350,000 inhabitants, problems begin when it comes to meeting someone in a loving way who is not your close relative.
That is why three Icelandic engineers created an application for mobile phones, where citizens write their name and the name of the person they met and this gives them the result of whether they are related or not.
The famous app can only be used by Icelandic citizens or residents, since they have to register in a registry where they are given an identification number.
Today, the application has data on almost all Icelanders and thus allows you to find out how related you might be to the person you just met. In this way, they will know whether to move forward with their relationship or if they will end up meeting at a family reunion.
This is where the idea, widely spread on social networks, comes from, that when Icelandic women see that you're not from here, they all go after you. This way they avoid finding someone with joint blood ties, so as soon as they find out that you are of another nationality, anyone is interested.
Believing that relationships are more promiscuous in Iceland than in other geographies, is rather the work of some content creator who saw in it a good excuse to generate visits to his site. We believe that Icelandic women deserve respect first and foremost and we treat that as a commercial myth.

Icelandic women ensure that the house is clean and put a lot of effort into it. They love to create in the kitchen, especially on long winter nights.
