Тhe еngine sounds are still with terrible gas balancing. I don't hear a difference in the sound of the engine and its balancing, SCS Software definitely make fun of us.
do they not have the resources to mke the engine sound better or do we don't complain enough about it, i still don't know how can anyone be okay with the stock sound
I nearly had a heart attack listening to that Scania, I could have sworn my ears were bleeding..... SCS do a lot of wonderful things, engine sounds is NOT one of them.
I have a big question. When SCS will make walk mode and loading/unloading the trailer? I know that ETS2 is the best truck simulator game, but already must to level up with the gameplay. And my suggestion wil make the game more intresting! 😄😊❤️ Thanks in advance! Greetings from Bulgaria🇧🇬😌
I'm glad they want to update sounds and all but when are they going to go and properly record some realistic engine and interior sounds from real trucks and make it sound good lol. Same for ATS. Luckily I got zeemods making quality sounds but c'monnnn SCS!
@@TheSultan1470 yes I do. I work for Schneider National trucking. I am on the 48 states OTR account and I have a 2020 freightliner cascadia. I play ATS on my home time and I know they record from real trucks supposedly but their default sounds sound like something from a 12 year old game they’re outdated or whoever converts the audio to game format just doesn’t do justice. The default SCS cascadia sound with the DD15 sounds okay on the start up but then as soon as you accelerate it sounds just so awful and unrealistic. Where when I use Kriechbaums engine mega pack his audio for the DD15 same engine as my Cascadia from Schneider, it sounds almost identical to my real truck. Kriechbaum even got the funky noises the truck makes when you put it into gear. Kriechbaum has the right idea, and zeemods also uses good microphones and get way more professional engine and interior audio for trucks than SCS ever does. Recently zeemods got a interior effects pack and a X15 sound from an international lone star. I’ve driven a international LT with an X15 Cummins before, and zeemods nailed it! The engine brake isn’t perfect on his engine but his X15 sounds relatively identical to a real X15, and the interior sounds and the blinkers and switches are all well done and sound like the real truck. I’ve driven with the Detroit Diesel 15 currently, I’ve driven with an X15, and the Volvo D13, even a paccar MX-13 in a T680. Not a single SCS engine sounds like a real truck motor they were “recorded” off of. Simply put whether your an enthusiast, casual player, whatever. The default SCS engines are awful! They sound like they don’t even try and put realism into their “simulator” with the engine sounds which is one of the most important things if you ask me for getting immersed into a simulator. Thankfull we have good mods with quality sounds but SCS really needs to step it up and put some real work into their engine sounds. And I think most people can agree with me the default engine sounds are just doo-doo.
Can anyone tell me why SCS publishes an update every time they are small in terms of content and features? Who knows? And when will they focus more on other features and content like Tuning Pack? Currently, there are many games such as Train Sim World 2, Forza Horizon 4 & 5, Farming Simulator, etc. that are more and ahead of SCS Software. Now tell me, when will SCS focus more on updates?
You're comparing a train sim, an arcade racing game and a farming sim to a truck driving sim. The issue is, what would a tuning pack update add (that fits on a truck, not a touring car)?? The game promises a truck driving experience and it's premise is a lot simpler than the other games you've mentioned.
My God...this game just keeps growing and improving. I'm loving it, myself...Thanks for the vid...
