I used to believe those rocks were there because they were pushed up over time during the formation of the mountains and then exposed from under ground by wind and rain.. Then I realized God put them on those single tracks to mess with our front wheels as we weaved between His trees. 😂. Nice ride and enjoy your videos man!!!

God loves a good obstacle course. Otherwise trees would all be in lines and the earth would be flat.

The rock gardens definitely look natural to me. Ive spent my whole life in this stuff. 54 years old now. Nice video and commentary.

Helmet comms is probably one of the best upgrades a rider could invest in!

About your seat hieght... instead of cutting your seat down or sacrificing suspension, look into a lowering link for rear mono shock 👌 might be the way to go. Like your video, looks like a good ride

Hi Jennifer. I got my suspension properly lowered a few bikes back but found that it created a bunch of problems for me. I race hare scrambles and enduro and found that all the ruts were at standard height suspension. Even the inch I went down meant that I was constantly getting my skid plate stuck on stuff. It’s a bad compromise for me. Worked great, but couldn’t clear the race ruts.

That looks like a humbling ride buddy. Tree roots are sketchy & I'm just guessing you probably weighted the front too much to compensate for the slick ground. I ride an 06 450r & added 14oz fly wheel which helped out traction, flame out etc. What brand of helmet comms did you go with? Push to talk ?

Pretty likely on the weighting too much over the front, just habit at this point. We use the Lexin B4FM. Generally we just keep them live, the mic turns off when you’re not talking. You can turn them on and off too but I haven’t felt the need. Not perfect but they are pretty good and excellent for the money

I'm moving to the Calgary area from Vancouver Island this year's
    Let's ride! Lol

The more the merrier. We head out near Calgary maybe 5-6 times a summer. Camping in Ghost. Always looking for fresh meat. :) From experience its nice to join a group that knows the trail a little bit. Lots of places to ride but maps are scarce. Hit me up in the spring and we’ll see if we can coordinate. Saw your posted video. Trails look good.

What kind of bar risers do you have?

Good eye. lol. It’s a custom job by my brother in law to sub mount a Scott’s stabilizer, rise up about 2.5 inches (Max with stock cables) and has threaded mounts for accessories. It’s awesome. If you’d be interested in one or seeing more just let me know. We kept the cnc data. Cut from 6061 T6
