Brilliant. The Paul Weller clip at 2:15 in brings back some great memories. When at The City University, London in '85, his backing singer D.C Lee did a solo gig at our Union Bar. Who should turn up to give her support, Mr Weller himself. He drank a fair few pints with us in the Student Bar after - down to earth and all round decent guy.

I enjoyed that i watched all of it it had all 3 of my favourite bands in it Queen The Cure Duran Duran. It was a big year for Queen I Want To Break Free & Radio Ga Ga. It's a shame Radio Ga Ga missed out on number 1. I have memories of Channel 4 it got replaced in Wales in 1982 by S4C we had a Welsh Language TV channel started in 1982 it used to show Brookside at 10pm for a while the only soap i liked. I remember saint & greavsie. Some fab music in 1984. I Want To Break Free got banned on mtv in America i remember i 1sf heard that song on a record called Now That's I Call Music 3 from 1984 along with the Reflex they released it on cd about 4 years ago i bought it on cd its got Susssans by The Art Company on that recored aswell & Dr Mabuse ha ha that song is fab the last song on the record is Red Guitar by David Syllivan this is bringing back a lot of memories. The music video to Susssans is pretty much just how i imagined it would be it's fab thanks for this video.
It was brilliant for music..so many varied mega hits like relax and radio ga ga ... loved teh art company song so much and still do .... The UK sems to have had more music programmes in 3-4 years than Denmark did in the last 40 years. I only remember 2 Eldorado and 1999. And only the latter was woth catching because of the amazing Kim Schumacher and his amazing style and understanding of alternative and underground stuff. And yes 80% of what was pop music in England in the 80s was seen as highly avantgarde in Scandinavia. We had 1 guy doing synths like Gary Numan in the 80's. Bands like the ones UK had we didnt get until the 21st century. From 1980 to 1984 evrything England did was totally underground stuff in Europe. Mind you the Swedes and Norwegians had an amazing alternative scene. Took me 30+ years ti find out that was a thing. I thought all scandi music sucked arse... Alas it was only Denamrk that was stuck in the hippie 70's socialist tripe... 😔
o oh... did I spot Gary Glitter (convicted paedophile) on No.73 (sat morning kids TV show) 😬 I suppose its hard not to include convicted paedos when showing tv from this era. This is a brilliant vid though! I was 10 in 1984
Oh I know....it was riddled with them wasn't it ... 10 was a good age to be then as you got to live your childhood mid 80's then your teens fell into the 90's with all the piano , house dance tunes! And to make it even better you were born in the 70's ...tripple whammy 😆🤩👍
Loving your nostalgic videos but I think you need to keep the likes of Gary Glitter out of them. He's a known paedophile. Maybe you weren't aware? Great aside from that. Memories n feelings come rushing back. Therapeutic. I feel sorry for youngsters these days. What a nightmare it's getting living in this world. I'll leave it at that as this isn't the platform to be sounding off! Thx for the memories..literally!

@@markstanton63 hahahaha!! I shall keep it hush hush ....no worries hahaha and Kouros! Theres a name id forgot 😃 Late 70's and even still into the 80's I remember a particular scent of soething my dad used to splash on a lot and I loved it!! I can still kind of smell it in my minds eye haha It was called aromis (not sure if that is spelt right) but yes i love that scent ...of ocurse the brut and old spice was hanging around aswell...hahaha I liked a particular perfume which from the body shop in the 80's which has been discontinued , called Duberry ' it was very unique and heavy scented..i love anything musky or headache worthy ha ha dont like all the floral and citrus ones...oriental and musk was and is my favorite ...oh opium the original 80's perfume i still use every day and love 👍You've set me off now!! hahaha 😆 Thanks for the memory triggers and chat, have a brilliant evening! 🤗
I learned something new about Wales and channel 4 being scrapped....I wasn't aware of that at all ...Im very happy you liked it Robert and yes Duran Duran 😁😁😁Than you for this comment, and Ive learned soething from it 👌 Hope all goes well for your weekend 👌🤗

Oi put brookside back on😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I cut Harry Cross short there didnt i ha ha 🤣
o oh... did I spot Gary Glitter (convicted paedophile) on No.73 (sat morning kids TV show) 😬
I suppose its hard not to include convicted paedos when showing tv from this era.
Like someone told me that's where the police 🚓 lost all respect due to the miners strike
Pot casserole yuk
Loving your nostalgic videos but I think you need to keep the likes of Gary Glitter out of them. He's a known paedophile. Maybe you weren't aware? Great aside from that. Memories n feelings come rushing back. Therapeutic. I feel sorry for youngsters these days. What a nightmare it's getting living in this world. I'll leave it at that as this isn't the platform to be sounding off! Thx for the memories..literally!
HI no I wasnt , otherwsie he wouldnt be in them...I obviousley saw what i put in the videos but i didnt clock it was him at the time Have a great week
For it to be watchable bigger pic would be good
Thanks very much for your input sorry it was hard to see Have a nice Tuesday
