Actually what a class video, never seen anything like this, following the non-league sides and the rivalry. Subscribed. Class mate. stevie- doon the road, Newcastle
To be fair, the ground holds 4000, the stand 500, the place wasn’t packed but there wasn’t any part with no fans. Probably getting to something like half full? A decent crowd by most standards.
Blair, Cumnock may have a few new players but, Talbot introduced 13 new players this season so, what you have seen on the pitch at this match is a testimony to Tommy Sloan and his coaching team in getting them to gel and perform to that level in such a short space of time. away the ‘Bot
Love the video mate, in England Bath City and Yeovil town is a big non league derby both somerset clubs and not far geographically played recently, but the derby is huge we've played yeovil 274 times and is one off the biggest. It's massive because they're the main dominat clubs in somerset and both teams always challange for the somerset cup both winning it 25 times each. There may not be another for a long time but If we get promoted and yeovil do to then you definetly should come to the derby always big crowds and pyros.
Mate Stourbridge versus halesowen Town over 2,500 in the southern central league, games abandoned ,away fans banned ,police helicopters arrests this is called the number 9 Derby because of the bus route but its very dangerous
Brilliant, thanks, plus we win. Perfect. The chanting about deaths is below the belt. Both sides. Respect this, and remember how we felt when it was us. Best Rivalry ever. ❤
Seen it at Junior games years ago. Camelon Juniors vrs Killingwinning Rangers used to be a bit nuts. Seen a full scale riot happen when both sets on fans stormed the pitch and the players had to run into the changing rooms. And away games were just as bad.
There are also separate ways in for Stourbridge v halesowen when away fans are allowed. I know this as I been there and my son played in goal for Stourbridge segregated fans in non league
Grew up playing boys football and school football in the west of Scotland. Played for Valspar in Ayr and Troon, tell you what these towns like auchinlek and Cumnock were absolutely mental to play against even at boys club age. Luckily at the time my teams were the best about and we won the league most seasons but if your beating them they would jsut start going for leg breakers, more than once parents started scrapping on the sidelines, I loved it 😂 It looks much tamer than it used to be. I remember playing games and there would coins whizzing past your head and bottles getting launched, then threats of getting done in after the game. Good times.
Way to overly dramaticize something with very little drama. I'm not saying there probably haven't been some wild derbies between these two, but this was nothing.
Both these teams could enter the lower scottish leagues and likely are better off financially than some that are called professional. They choose not to because their commitees would then need to start declaring just what monies they turn over and have held in so called charitable accounts .
If you think of the Premier League as level 1 (highest level) - I assume you're meaning the English FA Cup?? (I don't know the rules for who/how teams enter the Scottish Cup), then I think I'm right in saying teams down to level 8 are eligible to enter. But the lowest level teams start from an early stage (they even start their FA Cup games as early as August!) and play preliminary/qualifying round games. National League teams (level 5) enter the final qualifying round, League 1 and League 2 (levels 3 and 4) enter the 1st Round Proper (along with all the survivors who have battled through the previous rounds), Premier League and Championship teams then enter at the 3rd Round stage (64 teams are now left). All teams in England below League 2 are regarded as non-league.
Remeneber me and my best pal (ayr united fans) walked by somerset park in ayr and was these two playing each other in a jnr cup final and we were let in the home end with the cumnock fans with 10 minutes to go and went into extra time and gotta say what an atmosphere it was it almost had more hate that an ayshire Darby between ayr and killie ,,we had a great night with some of the cumnock fans .
Don’t really understand that, the stand was about half full, but most folk were on the terrace anyway. What’s the only stand point? You actually saying that wasn’t a decent crowd? Your team is who? Assume they have some support.
Might well be accurate. Not been to Cumnock for ages, but Auchinleck is still "interesting." Does this attract "tourist" hooligans? Rushden & Diamonds v. Kettering Town used to attract Ing-Ger-Lund casuals and other ne'er-do-wells from impressive distances... Before both clubs went tits-up and dropped down the leagues. Pre-Covid, Shamrock Rovers v. Bohemians in Dublin was getting like that. Hooligans arrested would include Poles, Germans and Dutchmen, as well as English. All randomly picking a side and having a punch-up in a city where the police attitude to having a pagger at a football match is markedly more liberal than the norm in most of 21st century Europe.

Oldham v Rochdale is now a non league rival you need to attend. Makes this game look like an under 5’s. Just watch the videos of past meetings.
Chester Wrexham was a non league bubble fixture. Loads of English non league derbies are equally fierce.
Utst
True. I'm sure Oldham v Rochdale doesn't pass without incident, too.
In North Wales as well, Bangor and Caernarfon was quite vicious two years ago in a Welsh Cup fixture.
@@vaughanrichards7438 yes, Bangor has a fair few nut jobs following them TBF and I can well imagine some chaos against a local rival like Caernarfon.
Wrecsam and jester are both in Wales
Absolutely cracking episode Blair. Most definitely one worth the visit. Top job buddy.... No1

Yet another fantastic video there Blair. Keep up the great work with the content

Great video. Keep them coming
Halesowen V Stourbridge 'The No9 Derby' can get pretty feisty.
How on earth did that number 4 at the end only get a yellow card for that ? Incredible
Come to Fraserburgh v Buckie Wednesday night lad derby
Two kicks right in front of the ref and only a yellow! Ref bottled it.
How he got away with it I’ll never know 😭
Happens a lot in the national league north
‘Aye ye wee basta’
Heard that shout at the start 😆
🤣 had to edit a few other shouts out so I wasn’t demonitised…
Go to Cobh ramblers vs cork city
Great content - keep up the good work. Greetings from Germany
Danke 🇩🇪
Ain’t got a patch on the Bo’ness v Lithgae derby. No chance!!
this might sound sad but look how clean every where was I not seen any where that clean in years👍
I noticed this as well! Great job by the ground staff
You coming to the Fife Derby on Saturday?
A Genuine Question....
Can Non League Teams enter the F.A. Cup?
And if so how many Games do they have to play before they reach the First Round????

Halesowen v Stourbridge is a lively one. The Number 9 Derby
That kick at the end was not a yellow card! In any other country It was a red with a lengthy suspension!
Really good video. What level is this? I genuinely have watched better quality football on a Sunday in England and I’m not taking the piss either.
Go to Cowie Thistle AFC in Stonehaven
No wonder Hadrian built a wall to keep em out

Wow! That sounds like the pinnacle of all lower league football 😂
Hopefully one day we get it again 🤞
I am missing something. Hardly anyone at the game, and the only noise is from a handful of teenage boys
London Tigers v London Lions is pretty special.
You can fight for your football team , but not your country, what the f**k. You won't have a football team or country soon.
When ye making a discord
St rochs and Larkhall it’s a non league old firm
Why aren’t they in highland league?
Er, cos they're situated in Ayrshire I think
Packed out, the stand is half empty?
You need to get out more mate this video is pathetic
Redcar v Guisborough is vicious
go to falkirk please
Beith vs Kilbirnie has to be up there as well. Always a big police presence at it and the only game where fans are segrigated
14:25....look how much it means to these guys , camera pans around to 3 oldies clapping.....yeah absolute scenes lmao
Biggest derby, but they only had 100 people in their only stand with a 500 capacity 😅
Don’t really understand that, the stand was about half full, but most folk were on the terrace anyway. What’s the only stand point? You actually saying that wasn’t a decent crowd? Your team is who? Assume they have some support.
Can you come back to Bonnyrigg rose 🌹 FC
PLEASE GO TO THE MORTON V HEARTS GAME ITS GONNA BE ROCKING
The Talbot are light years ahead of Cumnock .
Coming to an Albion Rovers game anytime soon?
it must be bedlam at high school as they all go to the same high school now imagine the run up to each game or every lunch time lol
😂😂😂 it was
Non League games between Chester FC and Wrexham FC were always segregated.
Scottish towns are so relentlessly grim.
You spelled British wrong
Good video buddy...
Did you interview anyone over 12,ground packed lol.
I literally show me interviewing a guy in the first clip of the video 😂🤦♂️

Good reporting right there
Come too muirkirk juniors
Yes to fierce local derbies, but life will still go on
Have attended this derby a few times as a neutral and (coal stealing bastarts) is the funniest chant ive ever heard at a game.
13:20 typical scottish keeper, forgot to use his hands.
Great video, look forward to seeing more.( preston fan)
Check out my Preston Derby video from last year! You’ll enjoy that 😜
If it’s not a bubble trip then it’s not a fierce rivalry. There’s only one bubble trip in the uk, that’s rivalry.
Looks a great ground
