These would be awesome on all four sides of a fire truck or on Fire Police vehicles.
Please reach out to the company to include an amber roof clearance light feature. It can work like this, with each O being two lit LEDs:

This isn't intended for use facing forward. It's an arrowstick for the rear of the work truck. Amber clearance lights to the rear isn't legal
@@CJYocum Yes, Red marker/clearance is right for rear facing as that's the primary location/area of use for this Light. (We were thinking Red but should have said so in the initial response). We did just recently have two different parties ask about using this front facing - one was a larger sweeper, and the other was a snowplow. Not that they asked about marker lights, but interesting to hear of this being front mounted. Makes sense though for a few applications.
I think it's terrible that you are forced to use their oversize and cumbersome controller.
A bare pigtail would be more useful.
This has the potential to be perfect for many use cases, but it has issues with the way it currently is.
I've seen fire-fighters (including the captain) praise how bright and attention getting the new LED strobes are as the dual head unit alternates from red, to red.
And it does look good, when they are standing 3 ft away from it.
At just 100ft away it looks like a single red light that's flickering a little bit.
If I have to look at something 5 times to work out if it's an emergency vehicle or not, it's not effective.
On controllers, keep it simple. A simple rocker switch with three positions for main lights.
Off, warning and full alert.
Off explains itself, warning should be a clear but slow and calming use of just as many lights as are needed to show people you are there.
Full alert is every light you have flashing as intensely as possible to tell people to get out of your way in a hurry.
And keep the switch simple and clear to use. We had one fire truck that had that style switch, only off was in the middle.
Do you think anyone could remember if up was roof beacons only, or all the flashing lights?
And don't think anybody except lighting enthusiasts or sales people are actually changing flash patterns whilst working.
They just want a simple switch to turn on emergency lights, scene lights etc.
This product looks like it could be used to provide very simple functionality, but theres no space for such a large controller let alone the simplicity needed to be used by emergency services when they really have other things to focus on.
I thought that was going to be a long ramble, however, you make some very valid points. The end user isn’t considered enough- more about who has the most flash patterns
Can you use the white light while using the amber lights? Do they offer curved or smaller versions of this amazing light?
Yes, White and Amber can be used together. It's just this model, there is not a curved nor any shorter lengths.
