    Well it puts a Big smile seeing all this red .But around 1940 my folks had horse's for farming in 1948 they bought a Farmall A and later a Farmall 100 all the way thru to 1973 sold the farm in all those years my dad never had a battery charger or jumper cables.And they always started 🤔 thank you for all the memories you bring back🏆🇺🇸🤔

    Auction tags are made of the toughest material known to man. If everything was made from auction tags, nothing would wear out, LOL.

    Morning Gino. I enjoy most all of your videos but the Cubs are special for me. I’ve got 22 years on you so a step is really important for me. The cultivator works as a step, but not all are set up for cultivators. I too find it useful to have a tractor set up for a specific job, age related perhaps. I just gave up for the season on selling a parade cub. Shedded it, no buyers. The 2 work cubs and the show cub are in the barn, parts cub is still in the weather. Not enough room to do it right. My season is close to an end for 22. All this stuff, not a rotary mower in the lot! I think I “need “ a belly mount bush cutter! All 5 are drawbar, but I have 95% of a fast hitch in the wings. Plus like you I have the fast hitch plow, spring tooth, spike drags, and back blade waiting on me mounting the hitch! Don’t look😅 back, someone might be gaining on you!

    FF, don't forget that the Farmall cubs pto turns 1000rpm and also counter clockwise which is backwards from all other farmalls. If the buzzrig was made to fit Farmall A witch pto.turns clockwise you may have some redesign to make the cub run it. Keep the great videos coming.

    I like your step on the Cub. No use getting air-conditioned jeans, and if you stretch too much getting up and down, that's what you get. You may be able to move the crown gear to the other side of your gearbox and reverse the direction. Some gearboxes are reversible, and some are not. Another option is to go to flat pulleys on both ends and use a crossed belt. You will need the yoke with the correct spline on the PTO and slow down the saw because the PTO runs faster. You will have to reduce the drive pulley size because you don't want to increase the driven pulley diameter. It will be in the way of the wood you're sawing if you use a bigger pulley on the saw. The Cub will do the job. And I could tell that the front end was light, but it did stay down even going through the swale by the driveway.

    • @tyfrank3427
      @tyfrank3427 Рік тому

      @@FarmallFanatic I can see that, but you have a Cub. You can adapt. However, a Super A would be a better choice. Buzz saws do require some power. Ours mounts on a W-6 and you can actually make the 6 work a bit at times. With the cub on, you'll have to feed it very easy.

    Now paint your wood saw Harvester Red.😉 Believe it or not, I had a great aunt who farmed with a Cub years ago while her husband worked in town. I went down to Aunt Susie's once while she was plowing her garden and tightened up her cultivators and just about everything else on it.
