Here an idea Cartoon Characters stupid to most Stupid
I missed when Lois was one of the most moral characters in the show. These days, she is just as big of a monster as Peter
Peter was also a better person in first four seasons, but after that he is the least likeable character in the Familly Guy, just next to Brian.
Now Peter is absolutely asshole and the only enjoyable moment of him is when he is getting hurt.
Funny thing is Stewie used to be the evil one now hes one of the view likable characters left
Yeah making Lois and Brian & Peter terrible characters is 1 of the reasons what made Family Guy go downhill in my oppinion.
I miss this Lois as well.

Lois tried to sleep with Meg’s underage boyfriend and blamed Peter on it. That sums up her character in the later seasons
And when she defended her being of being a porn star in the church by making it sound completely normal. She is the perfect example of a narcissistic, self-righteous, and irritating person.
Only she would’ve resisted and dated Quagmire instead.

She’s an example of character derailment in how her best deeds are seen in the earlier seasons while the worst deeds/crimes come in the later seasons. She can be a kind, caring mother but also an insidious, violent abuser (almost as bad as Peter) at any stage as the writing in this show isn’t executed the best nowadays.

I used to have a crush on Lois before I realized just how bad some of her actions are. It was the episode when she made out with Meg's boyfriend and then had the nerve to blame Peter for it rather than confessing to her wrongdoings. Mean characters have never appealed to me when it comes to animated crushes. For example, as much as I love Robot Chicken's Bitch Pudding for being generally hilarious and fun to watch, I could never have any actual romantic feelings towards her because she kills people and says horribly insulting things. Don't get me wrong, most everyone has said mean things out of anger that we later regret but BP says the worst things without showing any remorse whatsoever. I vaguely even remember an episode where she makes fun of a woman for having an abortion, that is about as personal and highly insensitive as an insult can get!
Now my Family Guy crush is Jillian. As stupid as she may be, it's hard to deny that sweet little Jillybean has a heart of gold! I can't recall a single episode where she deliberately harmed another character, physically or emotionally, which is extremely rare for a Seth MacFarlane cartoon. I admittedly have a hard time watching the scene from And Then There Were Fewer where she witnesses the murder of her boyfriend, Derrick. I don't like seeing someone as precious as Jillian cry.
The moment when you mature enough to realize toxic traits in someone you love and realizing those aren't good traits to have, but having to gull to change. Props.

@@BlaketheBlock People have been falling in love with fictional characters for many years. Probably since even before shakespear. The 70's and 80's is when it really boomed thanks to the media.
Though back then it involved more artist like david bowie, actors from star trek and star wars.
No doubt people have been in love with characters. It's normal and even healthy at times to even 'ship' oneself with a character.
This happens a lot in more modern settings, like the anime community, Criminal minds, Supernatural, and so forth.

I think it depends on how they display their abhorrence for one another in front if their children.
There are the distant and passive.
Then there are the openly violent.
Accountability can usually be a huge help in repairing relationships instead of blaming and reasoning with bad behavior.
THE RECENT EPISODE where Lois looses her vision and makes heartwarming support videos on youtube that go viral, which brings joy to Meg so much so that Meg idolizes her mother (Like she should!) only for Lois to be faking it this entire time and ignore how much Meg was looking up to her.

Regarding the “Obsessive” persona given on the silver metal of worst deeds, In “You can’t handle the Booth!” Lois loses her shit on very single issue she has when “recording” a new episode of Family Guy, as she wanted everything perfect.
Its actually pretty sad how the only people who she actually loves are her siblings. And even that probably won't last long.

wow I had no idea about the silver and gold medals. I find the silver medal especially disturbing because I've never seen or heard something as refreshing as cleaning turned into something like that. A dark ending would be that lois's thoughts were cluttering her head, so she blew them out

Lois and Francine wouldn't be so horrible if they never tried to just be housewives and continued to live thier truths. They are both ex party girls who did a complete 180 to be full time housewives. When in reality once thier kids where grown which Meg Chris Steve and Hailey all are they should have found hobbies that allowed them to be them instead of being hippocrites.
They just have to be truthful with themselves. They are typical housemoms, they are party moms. And that's ok too.
If the kids are grown, they should find jobs, not hobbies. Their husbands shouldn't be the only ones contributing to the family.

you know, there are times where Lois went too far, and there were times when she did the right thing, but it just goes to show, no matter what happens throughout the series, she never learns anything from her actions, like, ever.
That is the basis of these shows. If they actually learned lessons, then it wouldn't have gone past season 1.

Despite her being an absolutely vile character if not worse than Peter, Brian, or Quagmire, each episode either shows her as the victim and the righteous one. She talks down on people, acts as a hypocrite most of the time, and is extremely disloyal. She really is the daughter of the megalomaniac, Carter Pewterschmidt Whenever she does something wrong, she blames others for her actions. She's even shown as hot along with her voice whereas I find her as distasteful as a harpy! When the story tries to portray her as the perfect , sexy woman, it makes me cringe. She ruins the episodes for me all the time. I wonder if Seth McFarlane is influenced by Alex Borstein to write Lois the way she wants her to be portrayed or he is a white knight himself.
