    This is so awesome! You can even use this as a water throw rescue bag! I was searching how to make your own throw bag and came across your video! Thanks!

    I’m serious. Yesterday (June 3rd) I made a stuffbag from an 30 year old bag made from bisonyl. It worked out sort of fine but now (June 4th) this video shows up. I started with the bottom, without the holder clips, and ended with the strap…….Only if I saw this video first would have my life so much easier!!

    if you snip the raw edges slightly on the joining bottom pieces it will be a lot easier to sew...and it won't bunch up as much in spots.

    Great tutorial, however, this in no a waterproof bag and will not keep items dry in the event of submersion. If you iron on Melco tape to your seams you will have a water tight bag.

    It is best to iron a plastic hem on the seams, otherwise it will be wet in this bag after an hour

  • @HansBodart
    @HansBodart Рік тому +2

    Don't you need to add something to seal de the seams ? It seems to me that not adding thermosealing tape on the tape would make it prone to let water in.

    Could you add those manual vacuum valves to these to make them even more compressible? Ive been looking for vacuum seal drybags but all I can find are those massive ugly loud plastic bags. Can't see why someone can't just make aesthetically pleasing packing cubes that are built like dry bags and put the vacuum seals on them...but this gives me hope of making my own, so thanks for sharing! You've picked up a new sub!

    Echt super Video! Ich glaube ich versuche mich mal an deinem Zipper Pouch aber aus dem Ponchostoff ;)
    Kurze Frage: Sind die Nähte des Stuffbags so wasserdicht (vernäht wie im Video)? Oder sollte man noch einmal mit einem Nahtband zum Bügeln drüber? Und wenn ja kannst du da eines empfehlen (vor allem eines was auf diesem Stoff hält)?
    Freue mich schon auf weitere Videos!!

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  4 роки тому +2

      Hallo und Danke dass dir mein Kram so gefällt. Wenn du Nähte zu 100% wasserdicht haben willst, dann kann ich dir Seam Sure von McNett empfehlen oder das Nahtband von Prym. Für den Outdoorbereich reicht es aber eigentlich bei solchen einfachen Pouches wenn das Material wasserdicht ist. Es sei denn du willst die Pouch lange Feuchtigkeit oder Regen aussetzten oder damit schwimmen gehen. Cheers und Gruß, Steffen von AGP🤘😎

    Thats a cool looking baggy you made there. I wonder if this is 100% waterproof, as if you can fill it up with water and no leaks would occur... Want to make a large waterproof baggy for making a True Aeroponics root chamber.

    • @AdventureGearProjects
      @AdventureGearProjects  2 роки тому +4

      Hi, thankx that you love it! The Material itself is waterproof, but the seams aren't. So you just need to add seam sure or seam sealing glue and that solves the Problem 😎 cheers
