"Separate balancing for PVP" is something that should be done more, tbh. People always interpret this as being twice as much work, but honestly 99% of balancing work goes into the PvP side of games. PvE isn't that hard to balance as long as it doesn't make something comically OP or worthless. (like, its not sculpting a hedge as much as it is just trimming the outliers) In an MMO for example, if a class is 10% too weak in PvE, just push them 10% more damage overall. But that would impact PvP differently if they shared the same balancing.
Gloam eyed, miquella, the outergods, the demigods in general, the statue of that mysterious scholar, whatever path elden ring chooses I will be glad to follow them on. This game has some many levels and so so many choices to explore.
The Ringed City and Ashes of Ariandel both had their announcement trailers a bit over two months before they released, so I'd say any Elden Ring DLC is at least 2 months away. I really hope FromSoftware is currently making an expansion for Elden ring. It would be a shame if they chose the route of not making one, kinda like when Capcom almost never bothered making a dlc for village. I just hope we don’t have to make petitions to get FromSoft to get the ball rolling on that one.
I think the fact that like 80% of the major bosses in the game, are stated to be stronger in the past. There's absolutely a 0% chance at least one of the DLCs won't be focused around that.
Give players stockable healing items like Half Moon and Full Moon grass and I will come back. The spells are what I like in this game and when you cannot even acquire an item you can restock at merchants or even craft that allow for FP like affirmationed grasses or life gems of DS2 then I see no point in playing after a few play throughs.
Yo quick question ; 0:36 you show a clip of you fighting Radahn but it’s in broad daylight without the Red Caelid Fog or the night sky in phase 2. How did that happen. Did you revive the boss with a script?
All 3 Dark Souls games had a dragon transformation. And I agree I’m surprised it wasn’t in vanilla but it wasn’t in vanilla Bloodborne and we got it there.
I've already set my expectations for them never releasing a DLC (like for Skeiro. Boss rush doesn't count duh) so this is a nice surprise. Also PvE and PvP haven't been seperate this whole time????
Are you watching on phone? I believe most phones tend to have a higher saturation by default, if you want more lively colors, up the saturation on your tv and play with similar settings
Well those changes are great, I would have enjoyed my playthrough a heck of a lot more if the game back then was as it is after this patch. But you're right, I probably won't be coming back until both DLC are out though. I'd rather replay DS3 in the meantime because the boss design is just so much better in that game.
This is very funny because in the past people used to shit on Dark Souls 3. But now people love it. Is it nostalgia? The same happened with Battlefield 4 (or really most Battlefields). Everyone shat all over BF4 and thought BF3 was better but now people hold BF4 in high regard. I guarantee that when FromSoft’s next large souls game drops people will shit on that game and say Elden Ring is the best or has the best __. Weird how that works.
@@gvd72 I've always thought DS3 is the best souls/soulslike game to have ever been made ever since my first playthrough the week after it released. (Still coping that Bloodborne will be released on PC at some point)
I feel like time travel would be a little lame. They’d have to recycle the same map, same basic enemies, and even Demi Gods. In fact, the demi gods are unkillable because Marika removed the rune of death from the Elden Ring and made them immortal. It wasn’t until she shattered it were they were rendered mortal again, no? Even if I’m wrong about that last part that doesn’t change the fact that it’d be recycled content and very disappointing. Now Dark Souls 1 did do time travel but that was different for two reasons: 1. FromSoft created DLC later because they didn’t expect the cult status that game would have. So they made DLC when there weren’t any plans for it. 2. They chose Darkroot forest which is consumed by the abyss. This way you could do DLC here as you can see the beginning of the end. The pre-shattering world seemed relatively nice and while the shattering war was deadly it involved elements and factions were well aware of by now. What bosses would there be? Godwyn? But Godwyn was killed by black knife assassins. Unless he wasn’t and he was killed by us? But why would the game not only tell but show us differently? I just don’t see a lot of potential here. I feel like DLC would be either Miquella or something completely different.
LMFAO i dont even fuckin PLAY this game but as soon as you said "you can even blow bubbles while walking now" my head instinctively flew back and i went "holy shit!" 😭😭😭 no idea why but that even made me happy lol
I think that BotB will be the first or second DLC, containing access to the Arenas as well as lore on Mr. Loux. If there are 2 DLC total, the other will focus on Miquella, using either the past and then present or going into The Lands Between prior to the shattering. FS loves their dreams/memories.
@@oleguzumaki Yes and no. The ad that From Software has for Elden Ring on Steam has a little blurb about where the Crucible Knights are from. FS has never done anything like that so it makes most wonder if a BotB type DLC is the first to arrive. Which would include Horath Loux

I just hope we don’t have to make petitions to get FromSoft to get the ball rolling on that one.
There's definitely a dlc coming like it's 100% at this time
I think the fact that like 80% of the major bosses in the game, are stated to be stronger in the past. There's absolutely a 0% chance at least one of the DLCs won't be focused around that.
i wonder if Elden ring will get a ring city like dlc in the future
what ash of war was that at 0:55
These are the kind of updates I wait for before buying a new game. The independent reviews are out and THE patch is out. The hype is confirmed
Fucking nice!
It's a long time coming!
Zullie is a real legend man
My level 240 ng+5 account will be prepped for battle
I play Destiny 2, you don't need to explain how important it is to differently balance PvE and PvP to me.
I'm pretty sure that they're probably going to show some dlc trailer on the GOTY of this year
What's that armor you're using?
Ok, where is the location at 0:11? I haven’t seen it before and I have been all over the lands between
Wish If we can get a transformation like Bloodborne/ dark Souls 2 it would be Epic
How does your game look so much better than mine :O the colors look so good
Are you watching on phone? I believe most phones tend to have a higher saturation by default, if you want more lively colors, up the saturation on your tv and play with similar settings
I need to know if the Mohwyn Palace glitch is still available.
Well those changes are great, I would have enjoyed my playthrough a heck of a lot more if the game back then was as it is after this patch. But you're right, I probably won't be coming back until both DLC are out though. I'd rather replay DS3 in the meantime because the boss design is just so much better in that game.
I was gonna argue against you about ds3 bosses being better but then I stopped for a second to think and I gotta say I actually agree with you
Elden Ring gameplay is better though. But DS3 does have the best bosses in the series.
@@Tackitt whats better about it? They're virtually identical
What is the sword that you were spinning around in the beginning
Didn’t play this game in 4 months. Seems like they fixed stuff that made me leave the game. Gonna replay it for sure
Why does your game look so vibrant? I would love for my game to look like that 😍
I feel like time travel would be a little lame.
Now Dark Souls 1 did do time travel but that was different for two reasons:
Feels like going bossing with a big old strength weapon is much better especially against a boss like Malenia.
LMFAO i dont even fuckin PLAY this game but as soon as you said "you can even blow bubbles while walking now" my head instinctively flew back and i went "holy shit!" 😭😭😭 no idea why but that even made me happy lol
Story DLC please, I don't want a PVP DLC that's for the 10% of people who actually enjoy it
I think that BotB will be the first or second DLC, containing access to the Arenas as well as lore on Mr. Loux. If there are 2 DLC total, the other will focus on Miquella, using either the past and then present or going into The Lands Between prior to the shattering. FS loves their dreams/memories.
Totally viable
BotB was kinda fake, no?
@@oleguzumaki Yes and no. The ad that From Software has for Elden Ring on Steam has a little blurb about where the Crucible Knights are from. FS has never done anything like that so it makes most wonder if a BotB type DLC is the first to arrive. Which would include Horath Loux
Still waiting for black flame blade to get a buff 😭
Buffed every spell that's just what the game needed
"DLC01" ah yes the "dlc possibility"
If it doesn’t remove loss of souls on death then fuck it.
BROOOOOOOOOOOO I'M SO EXCITED NOW AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
if they will add the ranked option in the game.......I SWEAR TO GOD IM DONE WITH THE RANKED ON ANY OTHER GAMES
0:03 for many reaons lol
They buffed Glintstone Pebble...why?
so the mages can continue to hide in the back and can continue to cry about being invaded.
