Thank you for making these reviews; they have helped me to decide on what paints are best for me. It's been about 4 years but I am ready to get back into doll making!
i ordered a few jars too, and one thinning oil, i do want to see if it is the same thing as exodus oil because the viscosity and color look exactly the same but you get $16 oz from xodus and only 8 oz from gemini, so i placed a bigger order, i had to make the shipping worth it, lol
Does the varnish need to be baked multiple times like most? The videos ive seen only mention one bake time which would be lovely! Just ordered my matte varnish from bb!
Emily do you think I could use xodus thick and gemini matte varnish to create some texture? I also bough xodus satin so I am wondering if they can be used together? P.S. I got the gemini thinner and xodus thinner they feel and work exaqctly the same at least to me. The xodus oil you get much more oil ( a bigger bottle) with gemini your only get 12 oz. I like the bigger bottle more. How about you? and you are right I do love gemini but I have to bake power level 7 and 12 minutes or I it is still damp and sticky and I actually had to bake twice but the end result is amazing, it feels like silicone :) I am also going to try to use iartmatte with gemini matte, see what happens. I like matte but I do like a tiny bit of sheen. Our skin is not completely matte.
@MothersLovingArmsNursery I haven't tried mixing the xodus and Gemini mediums together yet, if you do let me know how it works! I do agree about the thinner!
Emily but when we have nuwave ovens you cant adjust the temp, you can only choose the power level. Power level 6 is 265 but i know power level 7 is like 300 so thats not really good.
@MothersLovingArmsNursery I bake at power 7 on my nuwave as most people I know with nuwaves do and that power level works really well! I'm not sure if the power levels on different nuwave models are different though? But the best is to increase the power level with a thermometer in the oven to see
Enjoying this ❤

@jamiejamerson15 They say only one, I've had the best success doing 3 bakes though!

@ thank you Emily i will try that
I have two different new waves. One is set to power 7 time 7. The other is 265, 8 minutes. We used a thermometer.
@@rebornsbymisty I have to get a thermometer i dont have one but i need it
Nuwaves vary I think. My power level 7 stays between 270 and 275, usually hitting 275 at the last 3 mins or so.
