The recent videos have shown Fubuki even shoving that heavy log swing towards other chimps heads, and even forcibly trying to take food out of Momoko's and Mikan's mouths while eating. He was cute, but is now a completely spoiled approx. 5 year old juvenille who needs a swift kick in the ass. The troupe also needs to have a new baby introduced. Does anyone know if Momoko has started weening Fubuki off suckling and riding? I cannot help but think that she will have a diffcult time with him on that.

It looked to me like Gin got overly rough with Fubuki - he is twice his age I think. Then Gin kept trying to keep it going. Decky did a fairly good job of keeping the warring parties apart (Miru and Gin vs Everyone Else). And to clarify, I think Fubuki is four yrs old as of Feb this year. From what I've read, it's perfectly normal normal for chimps up to age five to still be fairly dependent on their mothers. From what I've seen of Gin and Max around this age or older, they acted the exact same way as Fubuki acts now!

That fight could've cause Ibuki to to get killed by Gin OR Gin could've got killed by others for attacking Baby Fubuki.. Glad everything worked out fine!

Inner spats in such groups are a daily occurrence and rarely serious, particularly among juveniles. Chimps can be tremendously violent, but coalitionary killing is rare even among wild adult males. This is little more than kids being kids.
