I’m glad she ended up with KIOF. The group has incredible members who are very strong in their fields, even stronger than bigger groups who are popular. I’m very glad natty never gave up. Her dancing is too incredible the Sam smith dance she did in sixteen is iconic
I'm happy that she got rejected from the other groups because honestly, I don't think she would've fit the image of Twice or Fromis_9. I'm also happy that she didn't give up because KIOF was literally meant for her. Her personality, style, and aura fits the concept of KIOF the best out of all the groups that she could've been in. I'm happy that she finally found a group that fits her style and highlights her talents! Everything happens for a reason!
I’m super glad she’s successful but her being rigged out of fromis_9 was ridiculous and should not be justified just because it worked out for her in the end. It was awful and quite obvious she would’ve made it without the rank manipulation. She also did fit both groups concepts, you can tell from her performances from Idol School and Sixteen
people would say things like this now just because she ended up in kiss of life and never in those other groups so they never really seen for real if she could fit in n just assumed. but if she had been accepted, she would most likely fit in just fine like any other idol in any other group. kpop idol is not abt finding a group you fit in, they don't have that luxury. it's all abt making yourself fit in in the group/company that has accepted you n confirmed your debut since group images n concepts aren't made of members personalities n whatnot but the agency, investors n team involved behind creation of a group. unless the company is so lax that it's up to the members to make their own image or if they have a member with a very strong image that it influenced the entire group's image(like kard i would say). so saying one idol fit in the group you have already seen her in n won't fit in groups she had never been in isn't really a smart/valid point. just assumption that's not very based. but yeah kpop fans will do this all the time. idols that don't fit in their group even after a while only shows how poor their adapting skill is n hence making them a not very good kpop idol.
@@hslpt3exactly idols usually do whatever they have to to fit each concept. Just look at twice and all the different concepts they've done and they each fit them all
i really want to applaud Lee Haein for her brilliant creative direction. the solos were so perfect to show their individual charm, and that individuality has still been carried to this day. many other companies often see the girls as just one big entity but Haein seems to have always kept in mind to show each person's strengths.
@@gwenmloveskpopandmore I'd consider tripleS 4.5 gen, same as how Loona are commonly thought of as 3.5 with their pre-debut releases. Also no shade but KIOF are arguably more successful in terms of charting & streams, and their first cb album already outselling every tripleS release. All that while having been around for only half the amount of time
Wow I can't imagine how frustrating it must have been, so far from home since she was a child, her dream always one fingertip away but still unreachable... especially the "what ifs" after the rigging from Idol School. I also gotta seriously give props to Lee Haein, being rigged out from FIRST PLACE is insane, but she turned that situation around, gathered the most talented people she knew and was friends with, gave them all a chance, and was the mind behind arguably 2023's best debut. Even if she's not in the spotlight now, her passion for the idol industry shines
from sm to s2, i think it's obvious why these trainees seek for smaller companies as the time goes. debuting in a big three + hybe company is almost impossible and it's a toxic/competitive environment. i'm so glad her talents aren't wasted and i hope she won't end up like other idols who missed big opportunities and became "unluckiest idols". i wish her the best with kiof.
Natty and Julie both struggled for half their lives to become idols. As a Kissy i could not be more proud of them every award show and video they post and how they become viral without trying. And how they live up to their mission statement of breathing life into Kpop
@mamobee Julie's was a but less stressful. She was a Black Label trainee for most of her career (9 years). She was rumored to be the leader of both Babymonster and Meovv. She left due to her not getting any younger and YG not making a GG. She met Natty while she was under Stone Entertainment its unclear if Julie was ever a trainee there but not long after Haein recruited Julie to S2
I am sooooo happy and proud of Natty🫶 she never gave up, she kept pushing through all them boundaries with a smile on her face. She didn't let the kpop industry down play her worth or her talent💯 Kiss of life is no joke, all the members are heavily talented🩷
I’m proud of her! And glad she debuted into a mature group because she would’ve easily been typecasted as a maknae/solo idol with a cute concept for a long time and that has its own set of challenges. I haven’t seen many people shame her for her PS (which looks amazing btw) and I wonder if it’s because she just exudes talent and confidence in her dancing and other talents. Love love love KIOF and tbh I feel like they have more talent than…
im so happy for her. despite being the youngest in SIXTEEN she gave other girls hella competition. specifically to momo (no shade to momo) i was sad seeing her not getting the success she deserve in survival shows and solo debut. but Im glad she ended up in KIOF. It suits her
I always wonder that if NATTY was Japanese or Korean would she of been more liked by the Korean public? She left her own country to train and be a celebrity in another country that already doesn't like Thai people or foreign idols in general yet was constantly praised for being extremely talented to the point where she was beating out people much older than her, yet she still wasn't reached out or scouted by any big companies. Which makes me think that if she Korean would she of been the most desirable trainee?
Coming back with a banger of a video topic! I love love love kiss of life so much. They truly deserve the world. When i first heard Natty's (and by extension Lee Haein's) story it made me really sad and angry about the industry... I normally don't buy albums but I started collecting kiss of life to support Natty and the others. I've been into kpop for about 12 years and it's been a long time since a group got me this excited! Their albums are really beautiful too. The staff interviews are so heartwarming
I'm so glad she never gave up. I was terrified that it was over for her after Teddy Bear. I've known and supported her since Sixteen and knew she had the potential to become one of Kpop's biggest stars. It would be a huge shame to not let a talent like her shine. She just needed the right group and thank god KIOF was formed. Wishing her the very best.
I'm so happy that the channel is back ❤ And even more so at the same time that Normani announced her debut album, this timing was perfect and I loved it lol
I’m glad natty finally debut in kiss of life. I mean if i were her, i don’t know if i have any more willing to do another survival show or join training once again in different company. I don’t have fighting spirit like her.
I’ve been a fan of Natty ever since that first episode of Sixteen & although it’s been painful having to see her go through all these setbacks over the years, I’m so genuinely happy she’s finally found her home with KIOF. Now I have an entire binder full of her POBs and an area just for my signed Natty solo & KIOF albums 😆
Thanks for the video on Natty! I get emotional whenever we take a look back on her wild ride of a journey. Been watching her from afar since her Sixteen days. Falling for her was not on my life's bingo card, but how can I not when her strength and passion is so admirable. 🥺 Glad her time to rightfully shine has finally come and that she found her home with Julie, Belle, and Haneul. ❤
I saw her in sixteen and i went really into Kpop After Idols school (before sixteen and Idol school i was only a casual Kpop listener). I was really her fan when She debuted solo and i was sad when She went silent, now i'm so Happy She FOUND the success She deserve and She sweated for (alongside belle, haneul and Julie).
I'm surprised there was no mention of Haein at S2 Ent. The entire concept and direction of KIOF is Haein's creation as the group's creative director. I know this video was about Natty but there was also a lot talk about Haein earlier. So I feel like it's almost a disservice to Haein after mentioning what she went through and the success of KIOF.
It’s so crazy that after the show Idol School… Natty, kiof director Lee Haein, Le Sserafim Yunjin, after school Kaeun, Izone Jo Yuri and two other trainees were going to debut together in a pledis x stone music gg in 2018/2019
I love Natty so much and it’s so rewarding to see her journey has a happy ending (although it’s just the beginning for KiOF!!). Also, i’m letting u know out of the pure desire to help, the word “indicted” is pronounced as “indited” without pronouncing the “c” :) english is weird like that
Thanks for making this. As I'm familiar with her past, I've always supported her and was ecstatic when I found out she was debuting w/KIOF. I thought, "NOW, she's FINALLY getting the recognition she deserves." Let's continue to support her in her career because her and KIOF's sound is what the industry needs!
I’m so proud of her. She’s confident and never gives up. And of course it’s not easy to back down if you’re from another country. You have to keep fighting. She is pretty, talented, kind and down to earth. I hope she can go further towards success with other talented members in Kiss of Life❤
So happy Natty got to finally debut in a group. It was a long tough road. Thanks for the details you put in this. I thought i followed her career and knew everything. But you mentioned some things I didn't know. Another struggle you didn't mention that she had was that she wasn't Korean. Now, foreigners are more accepted. But a foreigner debuting as a Kpop soloist? That's unheard of. Her own path was rough and intersected with so many other people with their own rough paths. Each could get their own video. And I see you have made some of those videos. It's hard being a Nugu Stan seeing too many times groups and idols with so much potential but getting disbanded. Thanks for making these videos. I've followed Natty since Sixteen and excited last year that she was debuting in a group. But then I found out the company. Saddened but still happy for Natty. Hot Issue was one of those groups with great potential. Sure Nugus disband because of lack of success. But something was off about Hot Issue sudden disbandment. I had ANS - Majors feelings coming back. I didn't want to support the company but wanted to support Natty. Unfortunately, that's the business. What can we do? Thanks again for making aware of these Nugus tough road.
Well Hot Issue barely sold more than a few hundred albums in their entire career (their debut album only sold 95 copies. That's dire even by nugu standards, so of course they were disbanded not long after... It's sad for those girls but that's the sad reality debuting under a small non-big4 company. No company stans, no payola. And no one bought their albums so they had to move on and try again with their limited resources. Let's support KIOF so this doesn't happen again. I'm streaming and buying all their albums ❤ I also started collecting their pcs 😊
@suzyocean7392 I understand they had low views but it seemed more than just that. A year later the company has a lot of money to invest in KOLs debut than they didn't for Hot Issue? And a lot of times if a company scraps a group and tries again, they keep a couple members. Not here. Saying this is nothing against the KOL members. I dont like streaming. If you love the song and listen to it on repeat that's fine. But streaming hurts the industry. It's playing fire with fire and you're abound to get burned. Big4 fandoms have the fans to stream effectively. Because they do that, the algorithm hurts Nugus. The Big4 fandoms see smaller groups getting streamed, that just fuels them to do it more. Getting burned. The algorithm and Big companies buy views already work against Nugus.
I don’t care much for kpop any more but natty will always be one of the thousands of idols I can say I truly and wholeheartedly believed in and will still support
Aside from Natty story of her couple time to debut, it’s surprising too see Lee Haein, person who also compete w Natty on Idol School, helped her to debut because she’s creative director…. Wow amazed me
i love your videos but can you please increase the volume of your spoken audio? as someone with hearing issues it's very hard to hear since it's so low compared to other videos in my playlist.. love from Canada
thank you very much for watching & the feedback - we're very sorry for the low volume on this one, something must've gone wrong during editing. we'll make sure it's back to normal for our next project!
i watched Natty in sixteen (and actually think she did better than some Twice members) and checked out her solo debut out of curiosity but that's abt it. i like Sugarcoat but not really feeling Kiss of Life music so far so they're no longer in my radar but wow i did not know(or maybe i did but forgot) that Lee Haein is involved in the group/concept making since she's the creative director. i did know she was in S2 ent from pd101 but didn't know she stayed for this long there. didn't watch idol school but watched her in produce 101 and she was done dirty there n then apparently done dirty yet again in idol school, i can see why she gave up to become an idol. n maybe for the better since kpop is just getting more n more meh n all abt the big agencies domination n nothing more on the side, like kiss of life has some buzz n i think they won some rookie awards too but unless a nonbig agency make a buzz big enough like gidle during their rookie days and keep that buzz afloat consistently it is very hard to survive in long run while big agencies can cook up some mediocre craps with idols that can barely sing n still have everyone floored like seriously...but who knows...these days many idols can survive just by international popularity even if not so much by domestic recognition so they might be able to make it n survive as long as they release music consistently n their fans don't jump around to newer idols(which reminds me of some rookie groups i decided to stan but then greatly regretted, with one boygroup have a bunch of members thrown out n replaced with random boys from a diff survival show when the group itself was winners voted by fans from a survival show...the disrespect, and another one, a girlgroup from survival show too..with insane vocal talents n potential, and impressive live ability while dancing has no more music releases as a group n just random cutesy videos even when they're so far above that, talent wise...truly made me traumatized to stan another rookie. but real talk, if Lee Haein decide to debut i'd still be interested to check it out, not exactly her fan or anything in pd101 but i still like her more than all the winners n she seems talented n likable enough so...yeah.
There was also a rumor that nch X swing will debut a girl group with natty. They had collab auditions. It could be that swing and nch canceled the debut plans after the drama between stone and nch.
I'm so happy that she debuted in KIOF, I remember watching her in Sixteen and I thought that she was literally the most talented contestant! She was great at both singing and performing, but JYP set her up by putting her against other members who were way older and more experienced. I'm happy that she didn't debut with TWICE, because she would have been too young to debut and now she's in a group that is mature and fun, and they have really great music!
When she released Teddy Bear, I wanted to stan her but then she disappeared and i was disappointed and thought we`ll never see her again. I wasn`t very happy to see her being in a group under S2 Entertainment because of how they managed Hot Issue and how they gave up on them after their first comeback. I`m still skeptical if S2 Entertainment is a good company for a girlgroup but it`s nice to see Natty back and finally having a career as idol :)
S2 seems to be a good company (I'd recommend checking out their staff interviews/staff reactions, they seem really cool!) they just got very unlucky with Hot Issue debuting at the wrong time during covid and no one buying their albums. Kiss of life already sold about 100x as many albums and have proven to have a more stable fanbase. I normally don't buy albums but I started collecting kiss of life to support Natty and the other members
@@suzyocean7392 apart from that the management changed and they have Haein now. Even Adora helped KIOF with their music. Even if I don't trust the CEO, I believe in Haein. Haein was a stroke of luck without which they would not be so successful. At least the numbers are right. It's a great time to be a kpop fan when you have KIOF and tripleS (I'm fan of both).

bad luck for her but good luck for us to have natty and kiof kiof is soo perfect
Aside from Natty story of her couple time to debut, it’s surprising too see Lee Haein, person who also compete w Natty on Idol School, helped her to debut because she’s creative director…. Wow amazed me
i love your videos but can you please increase the volume of your spoken audio? as someone with hearing issues it's very hard to hear since it's so low compared to other videos in my playlist.. love from Canada
second this. i don't have hearing issues and i still need to have my volume maxed out to hear it properly!
thank you very much for watching & the feedback - we're very sorry for the low volume on this one, something must've gone wrong during editing. we'll make sure it's back to normal for our next project!
i watched Natty in sixteen (and actually think she did better than some Twice members) and checked out her solo debut out of curiosity but that's abt it. i like Sugarcoat but not really feeling Kiss of Life music so far so they're no longer in my radar but wow i did not know(or maybe i did but forgot) that Lee Haein is involved in the group/concept making since she's the creative director. i did know she was in S2 ent from pd101 but didn't know she stayed for this long there. didn't watch idol school but watched her in produce 101 and she was done dirty there n then apparently done dirty yet again in idol school, i can see why she gave up to become an idol. n maybe for the better since kpop is just getting more n more meh n all abt the big agencies domination n nothing more on the side, like kiss of life has some buzz n i think they won some rookie awards too but unless a nonbig agency make a buzz big enough like gidle during their rookie days and keep that buzz afloat consistently it is very hard to survive in long run while big agencies can cook up some mediocre craps with idols that can barely sing n still have everyone floored like seriously...but who knows...these days many idols can survive just by international popularity even if not so much by domestic recognition so they might be able to make it n survive as long as they release music consistently n their fans don't jump around to newer idols(which reminds me of some rookie groups i decided to stan but then greatly regretted, with one boygroup have a bunch of members thrown out n replaced with random boys from a diff survival show when the group itself was winners voted by fans from a survival show...the disrespect, and another one, a girlgroup from survival show too..with insane vocal talents n potential, and impressive live ability while dancing has no more music releases as a group n just random cutesy videos even when they're so far above that, talent wise...truly made me traumatized to stan another rookie. but real talk, if Lee Haein decide to debut i'd still be interested to check it out, not exactly her fan or anything in pd101 but i still like her more than all the winners n she seems talented n likable enough so...yeah.
I’m so happy for her
There was also a rumor that nch X swing will debut a girl group with natty. They had collab auditions.
It could be that swing and nch canceled the debut plans after the drama between stone and nch.
isn't nch the home of Nature?
NATTY is a complete idol , also is very sexy woman ❤

good to see you back! your videos are so high-quality that it makes sense it takes a lot of effort, take it easy~
Ahh i love your channel, I'm glad you are back!
YESSS YESS THANK YOU SEARCHINGFORELRIS!!
Welcome back guys and I’m so happy u guys did a vid on Natty ❤

Wow... I did not know Lee Haein was rigged out of fromis_9 😭
Crazy talented
Huh swing Entertainment has never shut down. The label has still artists signed to it
When she released Teddy Bear, I wanted to stan her but then she disappeared and i was disappointed and thought we`ll never see her again.
Honestly? I think S2 is really doing a good job. Kudos to them
@@suzyocean7392 apart from that the management changed and they have Haein now.
