Thank you for this video. I grew up on Anle Road right by Yongan Market and my mom used to take me there when I was a small child. I'll never forget the man grab a fish from the barrel and cut the head off the fish on the cutting board.
I was at Yongan Market on the morning of Monday, 4/1/24 at around 10 am and it's just sad that the market is nearly empty. Many of the store spaces have "for rent" sign and others appear to be unused (exceptionally clean for a wet market.) This is in contrast with my trip to Tainan/Puzi/Lukang during the prior week where the wet markets were bustling with shoppers and activity in the mornings. The Yongan Market during my youth opened all day and was really busy in the morning.
真懷念～看到台灣圖書館真的是讀復興商工時的必經道路！
懷念的地方。捷運站對面的巷子裡是我以前住了近20年的家。去年回台北去了已經是一家早餐店（活力泉源）的＂家＂靜靜地享受一頓早餐也細細回味過去在這裏的生活。和店主聊了一下也問了一些鄰居的消息，基本上「老人都不在了」。捷運站旁邊的道路以前是＂公路一村＂。台灣圖書館以前是一塊公園預定地的空地。永安巿場附近的店（中西藥房，西點麵包店，診所⋯ ）很多都還在。市場內的攤位有些也依然在經營，一家壓麵店是同一家庭三代營業了60年。
