As you seemed a little speechless in this video as am I for the comment section. You are a true fan of the art, stories and, people behind these mangas. Thank you Mr peppers for all you do.
this is all about bro! the respect he deserves the great master and legend Mr. Akira Toriyama and i get he is not the goat of this generation but come on from the late 80's and starrt from the 90 he did imprint the whole world i love him , his work and legacy and i'm very grateful to have that memories to staying at my aunt's house just to see the episode of DBZ and my mum had to pick me up the next day =) PS: great quality video as always
Wonderful video Daniel. I haven't seen or read Dragon Ball (I missed it during childhood as I came to anime and manga much later in life) but I've seen so many people posting about what Toriyama and Dragon Ball meant to them. He looks to have inspired a lot of people, both mangakas and readers, and it so sad. RIP Akira Toriyama
Honestly I felt like a lot of people kinda felt that feeling where the world is dropped because honestly the moment we found out the news it was as if the whole world just went dark. It was like watching a tree just burn right in front of you and knowing that it’s going to burn no matter how many times you pump water onto it no matter how many times pray for rain it’s going to burn…. However just like with every tree even after a fire a new tree will grow in its place and that’s how I feel when it comes down to Akira Toriyama right now where he might be gone but his memory still lives on and someone else out there will probably be not the next Akira but the next him or her or them.
Hey Daniel! Lovely video with a lovely message! This legend's work put me onto manga and anime more than anyone else. I have fond memories of reading the original Dragonball as a youngster wherever I could (even the toilet lol). Goku and the bunch changed my life as a child and young adult and were one of the many artists to help me with my foray into my own artistic journey - be it drawing or music. Great work as always. Very honest and poignant. I'm sorry to inform you though, that I haven't seen any of your latest videos in my feed, and there might be an issue with how the algo views them. It's unfortunate because for me, due to the work load I'm under these days I was craving something chill in my life, and I couldn't seem to pinpoint what it was that I was missing; but I thought it was probably nothing...Well turns out it was exactly that! You were missing from my afternoons! You deserve more people watching your content man! Please don't stop ❤ Do it for Toriyama-sensei!
Hey, thanks for letting me know about not seeing my videos in your feed, I don’t know if there is anything I can do but regardless I’m glad you found this video and thanks for taking the time especially with what sounds like a heavy workload, I really appreciate the kind words means a lot
I’ve never read or watched DB, but I’ve respected him my entire life. But in respect of him, I’ve decided to get the DB box set. His impact on the world was truly amazing. May he rest in peace. RIP Akira Toriyama.
Hearing about Akira Toriyama’s passing the other night was such a shock… there are very few celebrity deaths that hit me heard, but hearing about his passing hit me very hard… Yes, I never met Akira Toriyama before, but Dragon Ball Z is so important to me. I remember being a child and watching it on Toonami. DBZ was one of the first anime series I ever watched. DBZ helped me to bond with friends when I was younger. I remember being on the playground with other kids and playing a game, in which we were different DBZ characters. More than that, I never lost my love for the series/franchise. Being in the early 30’s now, I still love the series. It has brought me so much happiness over the years. Looking back, I am sure lessons of forgiveness and bettering yourself (among other themes from the series) were great to see/get ingrained in me growing up. I will forever be thankful for the work he put out into the world. ❤️
I mean I seen every single episode of dragon ball dragon ball z dragon ball gt and dragon ball super and his series help revolutionize shounen influencing manga authors like tite kubo eichora oda and masashi kishimoto and became known as the big three also inspiring one of my favorite manga authors like hiro mashima and dragon ball will always be my favorite anime franchise
Amazing video, thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much for letting the world know.
