There’s a huge difference between real friends and industry friends. Getting that mixed up is how things like this happen. I worked at a bar where there was a bunch of gossip and the line between coworkers and “friends” was blurred. Everybody was hanging outside of work saying “We’re like family” but when issues came up at work those same people were pointing the finger and threw others under the bus to cover their asses. I worked at a bar where there was a bunch of gossip and the line between coworkers and “friends” was blurred. Everybody was hanging outside of work saying “We’re like family” but when issues came up at work those same people were pointing the finger and threw others under the bus to cover their asses.
