that gel is my holy grail 😍. i tried the cream and personally didnt like it as it caused lots of wet frizz (could be the coconut oil not sure) and i do love creams for my hair as my hair is course and emollient leave in conditioners and liked the conditioner as a leave in. the cleanser for me is good midweek if i need to cowash as it is so gentle.
Yeah, the cleanser is not as strong as I'd like for everyday use but for once in a while it works well.
Thanks for filming a complete routine. Still doing trial-and-error experiments each wash day since receiving the gel. I was using Twist gel as a single styler, but Treluxe seems to work better with a little leave in underneath to help with flash drying. I am getting nice definition after diffusing but it seems to elongate soon after. Today I layered a little Giovanni gel on top of the Treluxe for hold before brush styling. Any other tips? Maybe Smasters with the Treluxe?
Smasters is great for extra hold. I'd give that a try.
Great suggestion! Thanks. I was mistaken about flash drying. 😅 Since commenting, I have been getting great results (without a leave in) by layering Giovanni gel over Treluxe and can even refresh with Treluxe. 😊
Thanks for the video! How do you think this line compares to Evolvh? I have fine, high porosity hair that is bleached blond. I can't use the evolvh shampoos because the ingredient cocamidopropyl betaine gives me scalp irritation, but I LOVE their UltraRepair Reconstructing Mask. I'm trying to figure out how much protein vs moisture I need, large vs small proteins, etc
It's quite different. This line has more moisture overall and is more like other conventional products. These have a much stronger scent as well. These do have a good amount of protein though and they are small so usually work on most hair types.
Thanks for this video. Treluxe gel is my holy grail gel and gives me a great cast. My question is, once your products are in and you plop, aren't you removing some of them? Do you add any gel back before diffusing or do smasters?
Yes, it does remove some product but for me it's not a problem. For some people, it helps to scrunch in a tiny but of product into the ends right after plopping. If I needed more hold/definition, I would do it but I am happy with my results this way.

These products have some protein. I have low porosity hair and is very soft, flat and little curl definition and bounce. I haven't use proteins in a long time. Are these products ok for me to use or do they have too much protein?
I would try something with protein before buying a line like this that has protein in everything. Try a small sample of something that has protein and see how your hair reacts. I do think this is a great line for low porosity hair in general.

I don't use their poo and conditioner because they are too moisturizing for my hair, and I can't use the serum because it makes my hair frizz. I really like their gel and I use that everywasy day. I just have to be mindful of not using too much.
Yeah their shampoo and conditioner are too moisturizing for regular use for me. Even the gel can be. I have to be very light handed. But in the winter I do well with these products.
