What app is this
I made one on the chemistry laptop on the sub I was stationed on. its actually very doable, even made animations though powerpoint. got pretty bored with only ms paint and power point for 8 hours of watch. though using any hot key broke the whole thing.

This video is great. Thank you so much! I will most likely use this idea but instead of putting numbers or doors, since my students are in Years 7-11-- I will put for instance, "pick a character/theme" regarding a novel/genre. Lovely tutorial! :-)

If you add your hyperlink to your home button before you copy and paste to each slide, you won't have to keep adding the hyperlink. The hyperlink will be copied, too.
Command (or ctrl) +D is a one-step way to duplicate things. Instead of Ctrl C and Ctrl V. 😊

I added them after you have added all the pictures as a slide background.

hey emma, great video. btw may I know what version of power point are you using? I cannot find the triggers option in the animatin pane
don't know if it is too late for this but you can see on the upper panel there is the Trigger option next to the Animation pane

Hi Emma, I tried doing this but at about 15:39 the part about the animation, I can't seem to get the part about how the animation works. I couldn't get the rectangle 3, 4, 5, 6 ... thing. I could only get like picture 3, 4, 5, 6 ... can you help me?
When you added the animation and selected the "trigger" then "rectangle 3", where did the "rectangle 3 come from? I can't find that on my program (Powerpoint Windows)

"rectangle 3" is the picture of the girl behind the x, it may be under different name if you didn't use a rectangle shape
Hi, I have a few questions. Are you using a Mac computer? My task bar across the top in Power point looks different. I can't figure out how you changed the size to 13x8 and why you would do this. I am just learning.

Love this tutorial, though encountered some problems in showing up the x marks but I got it running.... I think your video cut the part where you will put a text box at the back of the x-mark...
I got the impression that something was missing too. I have NO idea how to use powerpoint, but I have to learn in two weeks. What do you mean when you say put a textbox behind the x-mark? The numbers are text boxes, but do you mean a different text box? Thank you for any information!

@@taanvitube8198 Put the curser on the first version of the word where the 'Gill Sans Nova Cond Ultra Bold' or whatever font you chose is applied.
With the curser line flashing on the word, (The words 'shape format' should be engaged in the top ribbon)
Use the mouse curser arrow to go to the small arrow in the R bottom corner of the 'shape format' section and L click to open the side panel.
In the side panel of 'format shape' you should see 'shape options" and 'text options'.
Choose 'text options'
That should open the options below of 'text fill' and 'text outline' and the rest is as described in the video.
I am using MS 365 app with windows 10 if that matters.

Question? How do kids get an access to the file when you want them to click on it? Is this a stupid quation?
When I make the "X" animation step, it doesn't work correctly. I tried it many times and still doesn't work. When I choose number 2 - for example- no. 1 will have a red x sign on it even if I haven't chosen no.1 yet.
