I think the very small bowls are for soy sauce, relish, or other little condiments. That's what I mostly use them for. Or a place to put your used tea bag if you're being classy and don't just walk your cup over to the trash can lol

I think the small bowl is more like just for a display since it's so small to fit any food and too pretty to be used for something that related to food.
So sad that you got a repeat figure, but at least the bowl set is really pretty so I think it's still worth to buy!
