"How to do more pull ups", just do as many as you can 💀
Yh that’s how it works
duh
Yes
I mean obviously
You wouldn't be doing barbell rows to improve your pullups lmao
U obviously dont hit the gym bro u have to push ever set to failure it doesnt matter if you do 1 or 2 at the start, your gonna get better
“It’s not getting easier, you’re just getting stronger”
Well no sh*t.🤦 same thing
Yeah its getting easier because were getting stronger
Step 1: Do as many as you can.
…
Here’s how I went from doing five push-ups, to over 20.
God loves you he sent his one and only son and if we walk in the path Jesus walked in we will enter the kingdom of Heaven*.
How do you expect to grow
Basically saying whenever you are free just hang on bar and hit whatever you can. And ofcourse have rest between them.
So let's say I can do max 8 but my avg rn is 5. All he is saying is i should do 13-16 sets of 5 reps all throught the day. And can add weight too sometimes.
Are you fucking dumb repetition is the basic foundation of growing muscle
im only strong enough to do 1 pull up in a set i usually do 10 sets and fail at like 7th set should i do negatives or keep going with the 1 pull up and i will get stronger eventually?
Bro using silent reverie💀
Bros doing the “wear glasses to look more attractive” approach 👏🏽😂
what colour is your glasses
What’s the problem?
don’t be an idiot the sun would be glaring down on him if he didn’t wear sunglasses
He owns that look now 😎
And its working 😂
You came out of nowhere on my feed and now you’re everywhere lol. Keep making great content man
This guy is not great
@@YoyooTime yeah he has like 80% bullshit and 20% lucky guesses wich are helpful. He also has a really big fucking ego.
@@YoyooTime dude has 2 sides
Hate on bodybuilders and then the other is just making basic fitness videos
@@dr.chopper3804 @Leon
Don’t see why y’all need to hate on this guy. His content is good. He’s got a gimmick that works with the shades and most people into fitness these days need someone to explain some basics. Why don’t you guys give some constructive feedback instead of trying to destroy this dude
@@calebburgess2244 I wouldnt say I hate the dude, he seems to make good content and he seems to have a good knowledge of fitness but his fixation on body builders being worse than your traditional athlete in fighting sports is just fucking absurd, 2 different sports with 2 different goals. His logic and reasoning just goes down the drain once he makes videos about hating on them
It makes no sense
No B.S way to improve pull ups: start adding weight once you can string together 8 or more pull ups. Once I started adding weight my pull up numbers exploded. I went from doing 3 sets of 8 before adding weight to being able to string 18 together. If you can’t a pull up I recommend doing eccentrics and assistance band pull ups.
Thanks for opening my eye, I can relate this by weighted pushups which I recently started and it made me do explosive pull-ups for more reps.
I second this.
I just added weight now I can pullup with 25kg extra and do 17 reps no weight added
Bro I got to like 10-12 pull ups in row, added 5kg and at the start only did like 6, then I got to 8-9 (with 5kg) and I gained explosiveness.
But the number is actually decreasing after 2 months, now I'm back to 6 reps on weighted pull ups and 8-9 reps on normal pull ups.
Basically I do less reps but more explosive, could it be overtraining?
I think I saw you on Reddit
@@lourencoreis4389definitely or lack of sleep and bad diet
Oogway mentioned 😎
SILENT OOOOHH
For me the best advice is make technic and then try to do more pull-ups
You should do one for push-ups which I’m guessing is mostly gonna be the same advice
Yeah, my only with push-ups is that’s it’s hard to load up 🤷♂️ but yeah it’s gonna be the same
@@Coach_MarioRios once you can do 20 push-ups just do different variants to make it harder
Not quite cause there are harder pushup variations, after you can do 15-20 of normal ones start doing diamond or archer pushups, or incline them, then one handed and lately handstand push-ups
@@ZoroCOPS deficit push ups much better imo
@@user-rizzwan you mean decline? Those are for complete begginers
Or there's me bulking and progressive overloading with bodyweight ☠️
basically weighted pull ups 😂
i was expecting a shot at bodybuilders lolll damn it
First time this dude actually uploaded something good
Lol..I love this guy, yall should stop hating on him
and that's why Leon Edwards has the most asthestic physics of all time
This guy is the perfect example of how talent, knowledge or ability is not a prerequisite for success
You must not have had the attention span to finish the video.
What? he is good
Will do, Thank you coach!
I’ve lost enough weight. Do 3 chin up. From 38 % down 21 %.
On my resting days. Pt sets is do hanging. On bars. And do total 20 reps over hour sessions in gym
The best man to use sunlight for shinning his ideas
This is 100 % my physical therapist told me the exact same things
You can injure yourself with jumping to the bar with negatives (especially if you can’t do pull-ups)
Take a box or something and start from an elevated surface
Master oogway's song
There is literally a study that had people who did pull-ups with over 5 reps in reserve who at the end were able to do many more pull UPS than the ones doing 2 reps in reserve. Velocity loss is a thing, do your research. It might not be optimal for hypertrophy but much better for performance, both for 1rm increase and for reps.
clever man and some Time you explain good.. bro
Great advice
Honestly this is amazing and simple advice everybody can follow and apply to their workouts!
"To do more pull ups, do more pull ups" 😂 solid advice bro
Everyday push yr self to do just one more than yesterday.
And this is why Leon Edwards can do the most pull ups.
The last advice was best
This is one of my goals for this year. I will try this
Bro his pull up form is better tahn 90% of the fitnees community ngl...
Thanks
If you can’t do a pull up start with lat pull downs, or assisted pull ups.
Thank you
Honestly never considered doing more in order to get better
The short before this one: “Do it slowly and take your time you will get there”😂
To get better at pull ups, do more pull ups 😂😂😂
Mario speaking facts
Yo thanks bro this rly helps I got to do 50 pulls at once from 10 pull ups at once just by slowly adding weigh 🔥
If you can't do any pull ups start with neutral grip chin-ups.
Also do reverse curls or hammer curls to strengthen your forearm muscles since they get activated in the pull ups.
Also make sure do built your base by doing compound movements especially horizontal pull (like rows) and vertical pull like Lat pull downs, chin-ups and neutral grip chin ups.
Step 0: be super skinny/light
The fatsets way to increase your pullups is to grease the groove. Basically do pullups every day or every other day.
5-10 sets of pullups at 50% of your max reps. E.g if you can only do 10 pullups max then do 5x5 pullups throughout the day every day (with a couple days rest). Make sure to use perfect form.
Its not enough to fatigue your muscles or cns but it will build up the miscle memory and technique
How often do you test your max reps?
Just did my first chin up. Not the best but still something
Proud of you brother
If your gym has an assisted pull up machine do that. I used to be able to do zero and now I can do pull ups easily
Step one to doing pull-ups do more pull ups
And this is why Leon Edwards has the most aesthetic physique.
First time seeing my man post these type of videos...... usually brev just roasts them bodybuilders
I’m 15, lbs and can crank 2 reps with 70lbs added but can’t do more then 5 with just body weight , but I’ve only been doing pull ups since March off and on , recently more frequent
Jocko Willink: "Do you wanna know the secret to getting better at pull-ups? Doing pull-ups."
Normally this guys advice is kinda shit but this is actually true and it can help you do a lot more pull-ups
I started out being able to do only 9 pull ups. I started doing them every day and then I was able to do 28. However when I started power building I can barely do 10 now
Wht's power building ?
@@chethan1773 It's a mix of power lifting and bodybuilding
@@javo_the_goat how long did it take you to go from 9 to 28?

thanks coach i will try it out
I have good textbook form, but i am stuck on 5 pull ups in a row. I do them everyday when I pass the bar though, anyone tips?
Or just use the assisted pull up machine if you have access to the gym
Ya I do max pull ups then go on the assisted machine since pull ups is on my full body day as my last exercise. So my forearms have no strength.
bro has a theme song

Hey mario, can you make a short where you talk about the cut? How do do an efficient cut is my question if is possible
Sets to failure ruins your volume and bad for endurance. It’s better to do more sets with a few reps in reserve. More volume more movement pattern practice
"how to do more pull ups. step one, do more pull ups"
broo can you post your workout plan
Wanna get more reps in pull ups? Just do more pull ups! 🤯
yes
Last week I was able to do 1 today I Did 4...:)
progress is progress💪
It's been 7 months who much can u do now?
@@ryanrodriguez7664what about u ?
Can you do a short about how to set up the belt for weighted pull ups? I have one at my gym but I've got 0 clue on how to use it 😂
Probably have some vids on UA-cam for it. Seems like a weird shorts idea 😂
Attach the chain on one side of the belt then thread it through the other side of the belt and then add the weight and clip the chain onto the first side
This guy be like if you're homeless just buy a house 🥴
What the fuck are you expecting him to tell you, to give you a magical potion to be able to do 40 pullups all of the sudden
In order to get stronger at an exercise you are supposed to do it over and over again
…how? if you want to do more pull ups, you do pull ups consistently so that you get stronger, so pull ups become easier, and you can do more. you don’t go to the gym
@gyatty yes I understand that but it's just funny the way he said it, he didn't say use bands or assisted pull up machine for people who can't do bodyweight pull ups he's just said do more pull ups
Over 20=21
Ahhh the calve guy
This is the best way to gain muscle with pull-ups, but no the best way to increase your pull ups.
I have pain in my upper back after doing pull ups
My pull up procedure... Step 1 Concentrics (Up and down till failure) Step 2 Isometric (Just hold as long as possible) Step 3 Eccentric (Few reps slowly going down) How many sets do you recommend? I am 8 months into lifting.
3-5 sets

Before you do a pull up make sure your tendons and muscles are very warm up and stretched, otherwise if you do it immediately you will most definitely tear a tendon 💪🧠
Thanks but I never warm up and I never get injured

Pretty much just stay consistent and record your progress.
Wait isnt this master oogways song
This actually works.
I went from 0 pull ups to 3 pull ups in 2 weeks
I can’t even do one pull up
I cant do pullups at the moment any advice on that?
Perform negatives
I can't do one, hoping once I've reached my weight goal and gained more strength I'll be able to do 1.
Bro should be ashamed for using master oogways song and not crediting him 😂😂😂
I see, the floor is the floor
As someone who went from 5 pullups to over 30 one time, you don't even need to add weights.
Do like 50 pullups as fast as you can, take adequate rest. The sets will become smaller and smaller, and that's okay.
As you're able to hit more, increase that number from 50 to 60, and so on until you can do 100 pull-ups in 30 minutes. By then you should be able to hit 20 in a row.
How much rest is adequate
Bro got a degree in Exercise Science but still can't spell "Whether" correctly 💀💀
