- The El Segundo 12U All Stars won the Little League World Series on Sunday afternoon in the most dramatic style possible: a walk off home run. Jennifer McGraw reports for the KTLA 5 Morning News on Aug. 27, 2023.

Great job done to the fullest.
LA Lakers, Kings and soon the Chargers r all headquartered in El Segundo. So disappointed at the lack of financial support from these teams to help the family of players cover expenses.
Raiders, Golden Knights and Oakland A's contributed a combined $50,000 to help the Henderson team.
Pro teams did send some encouraging videos... so disappointed with these pro teams.
Kings are known for only helping if you sell a certain number of tickets for them, they're terrible not blaming the players its AEG
Some of those kids are secretly lgbt. Just like the players on the NFL / NBA/ Watcha-McCall It/ and WWE :)

Little league teams around the country should take a page from this and other strong programs by developing higher level select team programs by keeping their kids in the league playing together in tournaments during Fall Ball seasons.

Great game, but its almost not fair when some kids have a huge growth spurt at that age. That kid Lappe looked huge compared to the other kids
It’s not usually a growth spurt. It’s forged birth certificates, districting shenanigans and everything under the sun to cook up these teams. As someone who played in the summers long tournament 25 years ago I can tell you it’s not pretty what goes on.

If your a logical thinking person you would say “Wow this team coincidentally has a lot of adult sized kids. You would be right, now ask yourself what chances of that happening in small little league that has maybe 5-10 teams each with 13 players where the best “or biggest” players make up one team. You mean there are this many kids that size in that league? The LLWS was and always will be full of cheating and shenanigans.
Best town in California nothing else like it, however if you can’t afford 2800 a month for a 1 bedroom it’ll never be yours, every home is over 1 million my how it’s changed
