I'm not a new player, but I gave up on the full version in favour of touch in 2018. This series is really good, even the talk as the manager attributes were helpful.

As a new player and also an American it’s crazy that there’s this level of detail in a sports game. Been hooked ever since. Only probably with starting as my favorite club is that it’s Tottenham and they have pretty much no money for players. I’ve played a lot of hours and there is still so much I don’t know about which is great.
I'm not a new player in the slightest (been playing since CM03/04). But I think this series is a great idea. It must be very daunting for a brand new player trying to get up and running for the first time. There's so many things to trip up new players. Good on you for giving them something meaningful to refer to.
Yer I've wanted to buy FM for a few years now I'm worried I'll get to over loaded with to much to do. Never played a single FM game.
@@ashleycullen.933 Nah, you'll be fine mate. Watch some vids on UA-cam to help you out, and read properly the tutorial tips in-game and you'll bob up to speed in no time. You can also set all your training, press conferences, everything really, to be sorted by your backroom staff. So when you're ready you can implement them yourself one by one until you get up to speed with it bud.
Can someone tell me how I can view my new signing fir the club, like you know who was in, this is my first time with FM 22 touch, my last full FM was 07 so some time ago, and I'm just trying to find an option that will show me all the incoming and outgoing transfer, I'm mobile version this was easy just by simple going in to transfer history, but here I'm going yo transfer history and nothing is showing up, of course I have the players but it would be nice to see transfer history, overall im really disappointed to be honest, I got it in switch for 19 quid but I think I would be better off getting a mobile version, ohh and I don't have PC since like 12 years no time for it. Thanks a mil

i don’t know if this is still the same, but i remember in fm20 you could set the leagues you want loaded but don’t want to manage in to “view only”, which saves a load of computer processing. obviously you can’t manage them but if you’re doing a one club save you can set all the leagues to “view only” and have it still work run quickly. if the option is still there i’d recommend it, just makes the game a bit faster but you know if you play a lot it will save you a lot of time in the long run
When you set up a save it is one of the first things you see. 🙂
Does that mean that you can still sign players from those leagues
@@JWaggies definitely you could in fm20, i don’t see why they’d remove it, although again i haven’t played fm21 or fm22 yet, so i’m not 100% sure
@@JWaggies No were near as many. U wont get the influx of youth without the playable leagues. But u can add players through the advanced part. Top right corner. If u have a laptop like me u want one league playable with all major league viewable with lower leagues. u need these for loans then add the players through the advanced. The nations u want.
Hi Kev. Just found your channel as am late to FM22. The last time I tried any management-style game was in the 90s and it didn't go well. Hopefully this will go better.

I recently got the game for free, but I have no clue about football, but I'm obsessed with simulation games, so I thought maybe I would enjoy it.
There is a steep learning curve that I just can't climb, I've mastered Dwarf Fortress, Eve Online etc. but I have now realized football is almost beyond my understanding, I've created a very long tutorial playlist and set aside 2 hours a day to learn not only the game but to learn about football as well.
I was never fond of football when I was young because my country lacked any serious contenders in the sport, I did have a soft spot for C.P.D. Wrecsam as my great uncle used to manage the team a long time ago, but since I got the game for free and Deadpool + Ronald "Mac" McDonald have launched the team to new heights I thought maybe I'd give it a shot.

I usually setup the leagues I wont be managing in as "view only" which seems to speed up the game. Thoughts on that Kev?

Could you please consider making a video for Touch users? Since there's no Touch version this year, we'd like to see how to tweak FM to be lighter in use. You see, for many of us the full version is kinda overwhelming. Thanks in advance. Stay safe.

Go to the staff responsibles page and give your assistant manager responsibility for everything you don't want to do. Also give your director of football all the staff and contracts responsibles. That should help.

fm21 touch player here. I just got fm22 and it's quite overwhelming, was wondering if there was a touch version for pc or something simplier for pc. If not how can i set it up so its as close to touch as possible (backroom staff etc)
If you're new and not sure if you want to commit, do you recommend getting an older version first that costs less or free?

I first played a football manager game on the BBC micro about 35 years ago. And I've written some of my own. I like to keep it simple. Games now or so are far too complex, and not much fun to play. Hoping this video can change my mind
What specs are your pc?
I have an older laptop not sure how well it'll run.

For me when I start a new career it think that my laptop is just bad but when I have it on small database and with one league it shows me half a star. What would help me? A better Laptop or can I buy a USB disc to help me
How do you add players to your U19 team?
I have been out of FM for around a decade, but played solidly from the mid-90's to 2011.
Just bought FM2022, flicked around for a few hours and realised the time-sink would be enourmous - even by Football Manager standards.
Also, I didn't like all the customising of your own stats (which is probably not that new, but certainly wasn't a thing in 2011) and insane levels of micro-managing. Sure I could deligate it all, but I am OCD to want to do it all myself and am therefore better to not have the option.
After staring at the training schedules blankly for around 10 minutes, I decided to apply for a Steam refund (despite having "played" 4 hours, when 2 hours is the limit for a guaranteed refund) so fingers-crossed on that.
I remember that I enjoyed the mobile version (the proper mobile one, not touch version) a couple of years ago, so might get that instead. It will give me something to do on work commutes, where I wouldn't feel I was wasting time that may have otherwise been more productive.
Okay real talk, I'm interested in getting into football and wanted to use this game as a jumping off point. As a new person to the sport can I play this game?
Is it possible to play FM22 on an MacBook Pro? I really want to get the game but don’t want to buy an Xbox or a gaming pc just for the game

How the hell do you finalise the deal it's doing my head in!! Every time a press finalise deal doesn't do anything never get any negotiations?? Why is it such s hassle sick of getting bids expected then hit finalise the deal and you just go round in circles please help before my tablet goes off the wall

clicking motivator after moving the slider makes the slider useless.
not posible to use both of them together for some reason. and vise versa
so only the ting you touches last is used
If you select from the drop down box first then use the slider it works
