This is a how to video how to restore missing apps on your Sky Q such as Disney+, Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Discovery+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+ And UA-cam. Three methods using the Sky Installer Menu, Turning the box over to standby and turning off the box from the mains also make sure your box software is update as December 2022 Q210 is the latest version.

Third way worked, but mate it took you nearly three mins to get to the point after repetition, we know why we are watching .
If you know how UA-cam works short videos aren’t going to get the audience in I like to produce 2 - 3 minute videos and get straight to the point but UA-cam won’t recommend them so they have to be made like this unfortunately

If the 3rd method doesnt resolve the issue, your box may need a software update.
Settings - system info - Scroll right to Stoftware version - Scroll right to set up - select - Software download - select.
If the box needs updating, it will download updates.
That didn't work for me. My box already had the latest software installed when the engineer installed it two days ago but just to be sure I done a manual update anyway.
I had my box connected to the internet via cat 6 ethernet cable and the apps weren't showing after trying the three methods in this video. I could download TV episodes and movies I bought from sky but the apps wouldn't show.
What worked is connecting the box via WiFi instead of ethernet.
Worked after hours of pulling my hair out! Cheers! 🎉

There's a fourth method that I learned of today.
If your box is connected to the internet via ethernet then disconnect the ethernet and connect via WiFi.
I have a SKY Q 1TB box with two days and I followed all three methods with no success.
So I had sky call me and they asked me to switch from ethernet to WiFi to see if that helps. The apps showed immediately which makes no sense. I have a cat 6 ethernet cable going to my sky box with 460Mb/s download , 36Mb/ upload. You would think the apps would work via ethernet.
Anyway I'm being upgraded to a 2TB box with the UHD package in a few days. Hopefully it doesn't have a noisy fan like my current 1080P box that I have now.
None of these worked for me haha. And what is the thing about switching off your box and then unplugging it 😅. Taking the plug out makes no difference to just switching it off
So unplugging did it after the reset code.👍

That's what I have, luckily my apps haven't disappeared yet.
Changed over last year, the sky Q box seems a really cheap piece of kit compared to the original sturdy sky decoder box. ~Why did they take away the bb connection lead? Seems silly as I had it already, now must wait for WiFi to connect.
I noticed if I switch off the sky box overnight ( I hear it buzzing & for power saving) the apps are there, but always logged out & need to login again.
☆ Would you advise not switching off the box overnight , say twice a week?
Some say I shouldn't, but with possible power cuts, surely it will handle it.

If your not using it for an extend period and no one’s using the minis or streaming to their tablet then I say turn it off by the power but it s not worth it if your turning off every time you go to bed.

I'm having major issue's in logging into paramount plus won't let me in constant email reset nothing happening sky won't help paramount plus customer wast iff time 3 months still cant resign in out off options tried everything need help

Me too, tried it all had to call for an engineer appointment. I think it's bad it wasn't checked by the initial engineer surely it should all be sorted on the initial visit.
