Hi, with the velo, sometimes the clutch will touch the inside of the outer primary cover. This can be rectified by using two gaskets on the cover or leaving one steel plate out at the back of the clutch. Test for this fault is easy just leave the cover off and run the bike. A short ride in front of your work shop will not do any harm. Also the bearing in the back of the gearbox may be moving in its housing, there is a locking ring that holds it in place behind the actuator at the back of the clutch. Good luck, hope this helps.
